Make that "melted" butter

Debra is right-on about the inspiration for many moves in Millennium Stretch but please follow her (and Nancy C's) advice and give it a try. This routine not only gives you great back/spine/lower body stretches but also, at least for me, is a reliable and positive attitude adjustment and a "snap to" for body awareness. As with all good instruction - he shows modifications for those who are more and less flexible.
Scott has a stretch he identifies as a "seated Martha Graham" that makes my back feel soooooooooo good. I even do it at the office when I have a few minutes to myself. There are stretches that don't HAVE to be part of a 1/2 hour or hour-long routine but can be used during the day to keep your body aligned.
He spends lots of time stretching hamstrings - after warming up your back and hips - I hate to gush but I think this tape is to stretching what Cathe is to cardio and strength/core training. Sometimes it takes a few run-throughs or an unusual circumstance (such as my #%@*&$%@ herniated disk) to truly appreciate the detail and genius that people like Cathe and Scott put into their routines.
He ends the video on an upbeat, "let's go do it" note. I'm never entirely sure if I am using the tape for "physical" therapy or "mental" therapy, or both. If I ever get picked to go on "Survivor", this tape is in my suitcase.
For what it's worth.
