Hi Cathe,
I could really use some help designing a rotation. In the last 3 months, I have lost 12 pounds by doing 4-5 cardio sessions a week of 45-60 minutes duration (jogging, step, walking hills, and elliptical training), and weight training with PS once a week, with a second session for some muscle groups at the gym on average every other week, as time allows. I do take the ps routines to the gym sometimes and substitute machines for variety.
My problem is, while I have lost weight, my body fat percentage is the same as when I started, 25-28% depending on the time of day (I have one of those body fat scales). I would like to lower this, as I definitely have flab. I am at a comfortable size though.
Should I focus on more weight training or more cardio? I do notice that lots of high intensity cardio really hurts my strength gains and I don't want to get skinny and flabby. But, I have body fat and I don't want to be muscular with too much fat to show it either! Can you please help?
And my diet is quite clean. Thank you!
Tina
