Need opinions - Boot Camp/Muscle Endurance DVD

SRP

What's it like? I've done parts of Boot Camp in the Terminator series and it is fun. So how hard is it on its own? How does it stack up against the Gauntlet? What's Muscle Endurance like? What sort of premixes, combos, etc does the DVD have?

What I really want is GS-Legs, but just ordering one DVD is silly, since shipping is the same for more. BC/ME is my next choice.

I can't believe I'm even considering this. I told myself I was NOT going to order any exercise videos this year, and that I would just wait and enjoy the new series once it's distributed. But here I go again...

BC is tough but very doable. It's got a lot of premixes on it that allow you to leave out core or upper body or lower body, etc. and it's also got premixes that allow you to single out and ONLY do core, etc as well.

ME is AWESOME! She burns you good! It's also got some good premixes like upper or lower body only. I can't recall exactly what else is on the dvd as far as the premixes go...

They are both excellent work outs and you won't be sorry!:)

i believe there is also a premix or two combining segments of both workouts to make an even tougher workout.

I love boot camp. The 1st time i did it i almost died.
I did it this week and the only thing i skip is the mountain climb, i do jumping jacks. ( I slide on the mats too much).
Actually now it is easier . I didn't die. I like it. It is like an interval training.
Muscle endurance goes a little lighter weights and more reps. It is tough.
I have them all . I bought 1 series at a time.
Gym style to me is still the toughest of them all.I always hurt after doing them.

I love BootCamp too! Anne, when you say mountain climbers, are you talking about those squat thrust terminators? Those are the toughest thing EVER!

We had a discussion on here not too long ago about the terminators and someone recommended doing them holding on to your tall box, at about 12 inches or so. It really helps. Unless I do it this way, I simply can't get through all of them!

The Boot Camp/ Me Dvd also has a great bonus workout which combines different portions of the two which I think is a tough workout. So it's like getting 3 workouts and all the premixes I use alot.

ME is my absolute favorite and BC is great too! I love them both! If I had to give up any of my Cathe's...this dvd is one I would draw blood from the sorry soul who tried to remove it from my possession!

Hi, Shannon! (again)

The Boot Camp / ME DVD is one of the most used DVD's in my Cathe arsenal. As others have said, the workouts strictly as produced are great, and the premixes (of Boot Camp alone, ME alone, and then a Boot Camp / ME bonus premix mush) are great. The Gauntlet routine (one of my fave compilation workouts, btw) omits two really awesome cardio intervals - sumo squats (also found in I-max 2) and about a trillion ice breakers as the last cardio segment. I'll tell ya - it took two or three times before i could finish that last one.

I don't use the ME workout at all (so far) but I have done the ab routine and it too is very good.

Buy it. Buy it. Buy it.

(After you go to the doctor! You know what I'm talking about! }( )

Ah, it looks like I might as well whip out the plastic and get it over with. There's been way too many good things said about BC in the past anyhow. Thanks, everyone, for the info about the premixes and such.
