I hve the house all to myself for the next 10 days WooHoo!! I had been doing the upper body section of Body Max day 1 and the power circuit Day 2 and some other cardio tape on day 3. Well now that have lots of time since the hubby is out of town I'm not sure what excercise routine to do. I don't need to lose weight so this is just maintenance. I have alot of Cathe tapes: Body Max, MIC, MIS, PH, PS series, S&H, CTX series (missing Power Circuit) Intensity series. What routine do you guys think I should tackle? TIA

Hi Beth,
Well, I'm going to assume you not only have the house to yourself but you have LOTS of energy and unlimited time. If I were in that spot, here is what I would do...

**I would start my day with a cardio workout, alternating easy and hard and sticking in an interval style every 3-4 days. Then (after the shower) I would eat breakfast, read the paper, do a little maintenance stuff. ***

Next I would lift heavy one body part. You could do all the Bi's from MIS then PS then CTX for example. Or more or less, depending.***

Then I would soak in a hot tub or jacuzzi or whatever.***

Then I would have a nice lunch and go to the beach, pool or lake.***

Then I would do a long stretch session. (yoga or whatever you like. I've always been tempted to try to put several of Cathe's stretches together into a longer session)***

Then dinner ***
Next, after a little digestion time, I might try to learn a new piece of choreo - just 20 minutes worth or so.***
Then I would watch tv or a movie or go to a movie or visit with friends.***
Then I would sleep soundly for the next 8 hours!! - joy

Hi Beth!
I would go straight to the S&H. The reason is that whenever I do it, it is extraordinarily effctive (even though I know you're just maintaining) but it tires me out and I need more sleep. My hubby is annoyed at those times when it seems I don't even have time for a conversation.

So if he were gone ten days, I'd do one round of S&H interspersed with a sensible amount of cardio.

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, this past week I had migraines most days so I couldn't do the all out excercising I had planned. I'm doing better today so hopefully that's a good sign for a week of no migraines.

Beth
