Need help solving my medical mystery

Do you sleep on your side and if so, is it the side you sleep on that has the rash? Have you tried the Benadryl cream on the rash? Although oral benadryl is often more effective but you could use both. Was the change to Tide Free recent? Are the sheets new? Even with a really high thread count, new sheets bother me.

Let us know when you figure this out.

Hello Nancy -

Sorry to hear about your rash. I used to work with a lady who had a similar rash, it was only on parts of her face like yours - except it was also on the end of her nose and on one side of her neck. It took months for her and her Dr to figure it out - but it was her dry cleaner. She was allergic to something in the cleaners used on her clothes. So everytime she pulled a shirt over her head she was getting a reaction on more sensitive areas of her skin.

Good Luck! I know some of these go unsolved - hope you figure it out.

Hi Nancy,
One time I bought some super expensive face cream that was fine at first, but then I got sort of an odd red rash around my nose. My point is that I used the cream all over my face and for some reason the rash developed around my nose. I went to the dermatologist and received some anti-fungal cream, but I can't remember the name. It cleared up pretty fast.

So I don't know if this helps, but I thought I would share the possible idea that the rash still could be from something you use all over your face. The reason I would tend to suspect a cream or moisturizer is that the container must be like a petri dish with some yummy stuff in it for fungus.
