what should I do to get my legs bigger. Getting my my upper body the way I want it is no problem but I just can't get my legs any bigger.;(

Are you working out at home or at a gym? My gym routine includes squats, lunges, presses, extensions & ham curls as heavy as I can. Squats, lunges & presses can add some size. Extensions & ham curls target your quads & hams more specifically & will help add definition.

However, much of this depends on your build as well. I'm really petite & even though I can get well defined it's very difficult for me to add size.

Hi Maximums, what do you mean when you say "add definition"? I thought definition came from lowering body fat.

The Slow & Heavy Legs tape would be a good one to start with. Like Max said...go as heavy as possible.

Hi Shaz--you're absolutely right that to get more defined look you have to lower body fat. I guess what I'm trying to say is that since you're targeting specific muscles more directly you'll develop them more quickly with extensions and curls. This is building more muscle mass, and therefore the muscles appear more defined, if that makes sense.

As an example, many women are seeking exercises that will actually make the hamstrings show--just look at Cathe's hams & the way they curve out from her thighs (my first trainer told me I should be able to lift the same weights w/my hams & quads--I have NEVER been able to do this!). So I do standing ham curls working one leg at a time that really focuses on the muscle & have gotten pretty good results.

I hope I've helped & not made this even more confusing. :)
