Good afternoon everyone, I haven't post for a while because of my panic disorder is back but back on my paxil. I just preoder the whole blast dvds, well anyway now I want to buy a DVD player because I've been using my kids playstation, I want to be able to mix & match from different DVD, So I guess I would need something like a 5 player. What is good for around $150? Thanks:)

I believe the only DVD player still available with that feature is a Sony. Have you checked Video Fitness? They have a section that explains models and where to find this type of player. It is becoming almost obsolete because the only people who want to be able to cross program across DVD and chapters is us vidiots!

Good Luck:)

Hi! Do you have a Best Buys near you? Or a Circuit City? I was at BB last weekend looking at DVDs because I don't have one that the family can watch. I was AMAZED at how much lower the prices are now then they were two years ago when I bought by 5 disc programmable. I saw two 5-discs for $99 and a couple more in the $160 range. I honestly did not look close enough to see if they are programmable. Mine is and I have NEVER used the feature. I just make sure I have the discs in I want and find the chapters. It probably takes a little longer but it really is pretty fast. I ended up purchasing a single disc player for $47 - a KLH brand. It does NOT have progressive scan (I have an idea what that is but not really sure) It can zoom, do angles and it can even be programmed. It has an input for a coaxial cable and and S -input (once again, I have a vague idea what that is) I hooked it up to my stereo and I listen to the sound through that rather than the TV. -joy
