Namaste Yoga on Fit TV

Does anyone like that show Namaste Yoga on Fit TV? I've done it a few times and its really good! But to tell you the truth I think the more challenging sequences are easier for me and the easier sequences are harder for me..LOL. Maybe because most of the easy sequences use a lot of shoulder flexiblity and mine suckx( x(. Anyway, do any of you like the show?

Funny you mention, this, Adri, because I've recently started doing these. I love, love, love them. They are exactly what I've been looking for in a yoga video for years. The scenery is breathtaking (love how they change it all the time), the women look spectacular (athletic and strong), the music is beautiful, and the sequences flow so nicely. I like how you learn each sequence by layering on moves. And best of all, it's all done in 22 minutes, and you're left feeling pleasantly stretched out. They are intermediate at best, but I'm happy with that. Cathe tires me out enough that I'm not looking for my yoga to be challenging.

So far they've only filmed 13 episodes. I plan on buying Season One's dvds, and look forward to Season Two.

Cheers,
Sandra

Hi Sandra,
I just did one today at 12:30. Today as Yoga head to knee. Yoga for distance runners. I havta say that's one of my new favorites! But my favorite episode is the Crane. That's a fun balancing pose! I didn't know they had this seasons DVDs out. I'll hata look fro them. Do they have it available on Fittv.com? I'll check.

Have Fun!

I recently purchased the first season and I love them. I always feel very calm afterwards. I try to do one everyday and on my rest day I will do 2. You can purchase them from Namaste.tv. The price they show is in Canadian dollars, but my credit card was charged a smaller amount. It took about 2 weeks to get them because of customs. Right now they are only selling the first season. I believe Fit Tv is also showing the second season.

I've seen them, and they do look good (but I'm a DVD junkie, so am waiting to buy them on DVD--I'm hoping FItTV will offer them soon).

Adri: with your emphasis on wanting muscle, I can imagine that you might have some tight areas (though I always thought gymnasts were pretty flexible?). It's good that you are doing yoga that challenges your flexibility, as it will improve your flexibility as well (and a well-rounded program has strength, cardio and flexibility).

Like tennisgirl, I ordered the first season (3 DVDs in one package) which I think is a total of about 6 hours of yoga. With purchase price and shipping my total was right at or a couple dollars over $60. I received them in just under 2 weeks no problem.

BTW, I love Namaste Yoga. I haven't used my other yoga DVDs since receiving Namaste, although I know I will eventually put them back in my "active" pile.
