Mystery piece of fitness equipment

I got a thing from my in-laws, they are moving and they gave to us this thing and no one can tell me how to use it. It might be called an ab-rocker but maybe not. On the part that looks like a head rest it says "Legacy Fitness." It has two hand rests or handlebars on the side, and it's shaped like a three-dimensional U.

Like two letter U's, connected at the tops by cross pieces, also curved like the bottom of the U. In the middle of one is a head rest or maybe it's a back rest. I can't figure out what it's for. Can anyone help?

I remember that one! That was popular about 6-7 years ago. Basically, it's a situp apparatus. You put your head on the pad, your forearms on the armpads and glide up. The rocker on the back controls your ROM. It's not bad, but it is rather bulky.

I have one, not just like the one you described, but it is an ab-roller and I use mine alot. If I'm not up to Cathe abs, or I just want a quick ab-workout after a tape.

I think it works pretty well. I used to do different crunches on it, but now I just do basic. I can really feel my ab muscles (unfortunately there is a layer of fat over them)..but they are most definitely there, and I use that thing more than I do Cathe.

Not that this is relevant...

Yes I think I've figured it out. My DH searched the web after I did and he found some pics of it. This one is similar but a little different from an "ab sculptor." All it does is supports your head instead of using your hands. Since I listen to Cathe and have lerned not to jerk my head up with my hands, this piece of equipment is not something I need. Maybe I'll be able to give it to somebody.

I like those ab rollers or wheels- the Pavelizer comes to mind (tee hee) that look like a unicycle. I would expect the same kind of resistance with one of those as with the pikes on the ball. I have a small space, and a B&TR (considering letting that one go too). I won't be getting anything new till the mini-topper comes out.
