Hi Cathe,

I tried to find a place that I could e-mail you, but could not find an e-mail address on your site.

I've noticed your frustration with your injury. I've experienced an unusual groin injury and I finally seem to be getting some relief with a therapy called myfascial release.

I believe it was developed by a physical therapist named John Barnes. I've included a link to his website.

Just wanted to send you the information with the hope it could help you. I hope this is appropriate to post here!

I, too, experienced complete relief from a neck and back problem that had plagued me for years with this kind of therapy. It was the only thing that worked at all, and it worked completely! You have to check around with physical therapy offices to see if they have anyone on staff schooled in this kind of deep tissue therapy, but it is worth looking. The place I went to in Newton, MA was great, they only do cranio-scral myofacial release in their p.t. But I the next closest place I could find was down by the Cape! Though that was three years ago, perhaps there are more places around here now as it is becoming a more popular technique. You can also do some self myofacial release with a foam roller.
