<---then, must try to figure out the doc's circular reasoning, and continue to wonder why the doc can't just come out and say what he means
<---explains that this doc is making edits to a journal article, and the sentence he inserted doesn't make a lick of sense
<---must include the sentence anyway, but somehow discretely change it just enough so that the poor readers can understand it
