My snowy funny

So I'm sitting in traffic today (just flurries mind you, but people are weird and can't drive) and I look over and there is this red car next to me. The side of the car says "blah-blah-blah Paving Company, National Parking Lot Management" Thought that was funny, since the road was basically a parking lot. You'd think Chicago people would know not to be scared of the snow anymore. It was our 1st one of the season, and less than an inch. We are scheduled for 5 inches Tues/Weds, so I don't expect that to be any better. My 45 min drive took me 2 hrs and 45 mins this morning. At least I had a laugh on the way:p

Nan

I so get what you mean. We had our first snow of this season only about 1-2 inches and you'd thought there was about a foot of snow on the ground. People acted like they had never driven in the snow before. Can't wait for tomorrow as well we're suppose get about 6-10 inches. Probably will have to leave the house about 3:00 a.m to get to my destination my 6:45. lol

It's the same here in RI! I think the worse thing is that drivers act like that no matter what the weather:

a. Rain - OMG! Gotta slow down or I'll hydroplane!
b. Snow - OMG! Gotta go even slower or I'll slide all over the place and land in a ditch!
c. Wind - OMG! Gotta be careful and go slow or I'll tip my car over!
d. Fog - OMG! Gotta go REALLY slow and NOT turn on my lights!
e. Sunshine - OMG! It's just way too bright, so I better slow down!

Sheesh!

*snigger* *snort* Same way here. Gotta love it when the traffic man reports a "sun delay" WTF??? Flip the visor down or put on some shades.
