My poor baby had 3 shots today :(

We had Aiden's 18 month checkup. Boy, does he dislike the doctor's office! You all but have to hold him down just to look in his ears and hear his heart. Plus 2 immunization shots and the flu shot. Well, at least he was only mad for a few minutes and then all was forvien with a lolly. Doesn't sweet sweet sugar cure everything??? My baby is 28 lbs 33 inches now. My super special grow with me dumbbell ;) Right in the 75% on everything. Doing well! Just wanted to share with my friends here. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Joey's doc told me to bring some sugar water in a bottle for his next visit b/c he is going to get shots and she said it will calm him down faster after the shots! Also, when he was circumsized the nurse told me that they give the babies a paci to suck on that has a sugar solution on it while they are performing the procedure because it keeps them calmer...so yeah, I guess sweet sweet sugar is pretty much a cure-all! :)
 
He weighs the same as my 18 mo! Only my DS is 35" tall, so he is 95% and his head is 50%. He is this tall bruiser with a small head. :+:+:+:+ looks kinda funny!

That is so funny that you call him your growing db because I do curl and bench press DS! They grow too fast, don't they? ;( ;( ;(

ETA I thought that sugar made them more hyper, not chilled them out. Unless they are refering to the sugar coma that inevitably follows....:+
 
Debbie, those shots hurt me MORE than they hurt my boy. :-( Amazing how kids can recover once they get hold of a lolly. Wish the nurses in my son's clinic would give me one as well, but they never do.:)
