My Perfect Diet is Making Me Fat

Great article. Turns out I was the food cop minus the chocolate addiction/sweet tooth. (probably a not so uncommon problem with peeps on this site). :) Now that I'm eating more I'm finally losing weight. Slowly, but I'll take slow. It beats the alternative.

The trick will be making sure I don't wind up giving myself a "free pass" or take the eating more too far the other way.

Tracking calories does help.

I'm posting this because of the countless posts on this forum I've read by people lamenting not being able to lose weight even though "my eating is not that bad". Ten to one, you can bet that most have no idea how much they are really eating until you add up the calories.

right on... and it go both ways having too few calories, which we know can slow things down as well.

It's all just so confusing. Don't eat too much. Don't eat too little. It seems like the older I get the balance just gets more ridiculously delicate. Ugh!!! (Can you tell I'm having a lot of trouble losing??) But this article was very interesting.

Stephanie: you said it! I feel as though there is so little room for error. Guess the 80/20 rule doesn't apply to everything in life ;).
