My legs got bigger and I didn't want them to

Hi Cathe,

Hopefully you will get to answer this - I know how busy you are. I tend to bulk up in the lower body anyway and I carry extra weight in hips, butt and thighs. I've read through a ton of other posts to this topic but I'm just not finding my question anywhere.

I am finishing up the beginner calendar (Basic step series) and I took measurements before and after. I know from a previous post that I wasn't eating right and I've taken steps to change that (that has helped by the way). However, my thighs, butt and hips have gotten a little bigger although I can visibly see that I've toned up. I don't think that I'm using too heavy weights because I'm using 5 lbs and it's actually too easy now. Should I not be doing as much step cardio?

Is there any series that you have that I can buy next that will not increase the muscle mass in these areas? And is there a calendar similar to what you have for the beginner/intermediate series that will burn fat and slim down my legs and butt?

I do have your Cardi Hits and have been thinking that I will incorporate that into my weekly routine in replacement of the cardio portions of the basic DVD calendar. But I'm concerned that the higher intesity may just bulk up my legs even more.

Any suggestions?
