My knees need a mat

I've been looking for a mat that I can use on my carpeted living room for high impact moves that can be rolled up or folded to be put away when I'm done. I've been using my sit-up mat, but it doesn't cover a big enough area. Has anyone found a mat like this?

A lot of people use puzzle mats, but you cannot fold them. I use a gym mat with a foam folding mat on top which I bought here https://www.fwonline.com/Catalog/SearchResults/1/Mats/Folding%20Mats/ASC a couple of years ago. You can find any type of mat in there https://www.fwonline.com/Cat/Mats I have been a happy customer for years. The only downside of this is the fact that they are only useful for floor cardio. I have tried countless times to use these with my step and they just don't work. I have most Cathe workouts memorized and when she combines high impact floor cardio with step I usually put the mats when I need them and get them out of the way for step and then try to modify some moves on the step if they are high impact. Another things I do are: never wear a pair of shoes twice in a row if I work out on consecutive days, get athletic insoles for your shoes because the ones that come with new shoes are not usually designed for high impact as the athletic insoles are, and also remember to replace your shoes when they wear out, for me that can be anywhere from 6-12 months, but it could be earlier, my back and my knees will tell me when its time to buy a new pair. You should replace your insoles as well. Mine can last 1-2 years. Great post. I am curious to see the feedback from my fellow Cathletes.

Puzzle mats. Four squares is what I have but I'd prefer six. They go down and put away quickly. However, I've begun leaving them out and I have an area rug over them which I roll back to workout.
