I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!}(
There were 4 other experienced spinners. They were so unbelieveably nice and helpful.
The teacher was a man Matt and he owns a cycling shop we get a discount if we purchase anything from him, he was so nice. Quite honestly, I don't remember the music except one by Pat Benatar "Hit me with your best shot". I don't know that was a good thing today or not although I really do not pay too much attention to any class music even Cathe's I am too busy trying to get the moves down and listening to cueing.
We warmed up a tad bit I learned what jumps were I thought "Oh my Gosh how are we jumping on these bikes" little did I know it was pedaling while trying to stand and sit down. The first time my shoe came out of the cage (strap). Hills were my favorite. Sprints and All out. My least favorite was standing until my legs get use to it.
Seat, yes, way uncomfortable, the lady that was there told me to invest in good bike shorts with the pad in them and do not wear your underwear due to chaffing with them. She also told me to invest in the cycling shoes.
Overall, I loved it. And I can not wait to do it again. My bottom area is not that sore although I imagine if I were to go and sit on a seat right now I would scream.
The instructor also told us we did a great job for being our first time. My mom was very sore and she told me she started to get a little sick she might only like to do this once a month. I am so proud of her.
As My hubby would say "who in there right mind would put themselves through that" He is not an exerciser.
What a wonderful start to my day and I feel great.
