My first Cathe strength experience

All I can say is WOW!!! I am fairly new to Cathe's workouts. I have many of her tapes but just began stepping last month. I have done Step n Motion I, Mega Step Blast, Step Jam, Step Works and Step Max. I don't use any risers yet, however.
This morning I did MIS. AMAZING!!! I really enjoyed having the time to concentrate on my form as she gives you great instruction and doesn't rush. I have Power Hour and Pure Strength Series and can't wait to try those. I am sure other workouts will be added.
It's nice to have a "serious" workout. Debra;)

Hi Debra, isn't Cathe awsome. Well since you mention other workout, I love her ME, S&H, and one of her toughest cardio Imax2 besides MIC. Let us know how you like the PS and PH. Have fun:D

You are gonna have so much fun with Power Hour.Although I complain about the lunges in that one, I love this workout. And the music is awesome.I love doing the newer videos more so then the older ones.I don't have some of the ones you mentioned(step jam, step in motion).I probably won't buy them now b/c I concentrate on the new ones.
Hasn't cathe changes since her older videos?

Yes! It's really interesting to notice Cathe's body in Step n Motion and see it transform throughout the years. I think the most recent tape I have is Power Hour. I wish I took before pics back in November. My weight has not changed much (now about 131 - would like to lose 5 - but who doesn't) but my body certainly has. I am 42 and my body is stronger than it has ever been. Cathe has a great body, no matter what year but to see her get stronger and more defined gives us hope (Though I know since I am a teacher and not fitness instructor/professional that her level of fitness won't be coming my way!)
By the way, a question! I have firm and fitprimes (my favorite being Strong Bear, Super Sculpting, Firm Strength and Tough tapes I and II)
how often do you all do the full body Cathe strength workouts per week? I was thinking rotating and doing them once or twice with a different tape thrown in between and the rest of the days doing cardio.

Another question, I am interested in the pyramid workouts. How do they work for you and are they worth putting on my wishlist?
I am looking for definition and leanness.
Thanks guys! You are the best. Debra:*

I love the pyramid workouts. I really feel the burn everytime I do it. It is a fast moving excerise that you move from one excerise to the next. The first few times I did it I kept pausing to keep up, but now that I know what weight to use and what is coming I can keep up. The bicep is to me the toughest}(. You can rotate what ever you want to. I don't have the firm so I just do 2 of Cathe's strength or Endurance workout a week, or if I do the S&H or P&S I do them once a week because you really work on form and it is a longer video. You have to also check out Muscle Endurance, that is one of my favorites;-). What ever you get is great.
