My Dynaband broke!

Has this happened to anyone else? I've used mine since the end of January when the Hardcore DVDs were delivered. I was using it this morning during Muscle Max and a big chunk of one end snapped right off.

My 3 year old daughter was worried and asked if "Caffy" was sad that the band broke.:)

Erica, I have used the 4 foot bands which are not long enough, so I finally ordered a Dynaband this weekend from collage. $7.95 and free shipping.

I had another Dynaband several years back & it broke. So far the one with Hardcore is still in one piece but I'm thinking of getting the tubing since it looks more sturdy. Maybe we don't know our own strength!!:p

Yep, mine finally did the BIG snap a couple of weeks ago. I too just ordered a 6 ft on from Collage today. I was not able to find a 6 ft band anywhere else.
 
...as a side note, Power Systems has bands in a roll that you can cut to the length you want. They vary in resistance and length of the roll. I think they are primarily intended for personal trainer-types or gyms but if I keep breaking them it might be cheaper to go that route!

I coat my dyna band with talc powder when I am done using it. It seems to help it from becoming stickey.

Mine snapped in half too. I was hoping it would be covered by the garauntee. I don't know if it is yet, but I'm going to find out.

I know you already ordered yours Erica, but I had purchased mine from Fitness Warehouse Online. Not sure of the exact web address. So, what's the life expectancy? I've had mine since March. My green one does have a hole in it though. Not sure how that happened.
