My drawers smell musty

Now, before you start thinking I mean my undies, I'm talking about
the drawers in my dresser! My t-shirts and shorts smell musty and
stale, and my dresser is a very nice piece of furniture that isn't
too old at all. A few years ago, I had some great-smelling drawer
liner from Crabtree and Evelyn--it was a gift--and it made the
drawers smell great. But I think their drawer paper costs over
$20, and I am hoping to freshen my drawers in a more economical way.
I've tried those packets of "pellets" that smell good, but they
were way too strong for the drawers. Any suggestions? Thanks

I like tossing in dryer fabric sheets in my dresser drawers. I also keep a couple in my luggage when I am not using it.

You can also use scented guest soaps. There are also other, less expensive brands of drawer liner papers you can use. Or, make your own sachets - buy some lace or fine fabric pouches, or simple squares and ribbons. Fill them with your preferred potpourri, tie shut and toss in the drawers. Be creative and you'll come up with all kinds of options.

I like to use the perfume tester thingies that you get from magazines. They are easy and above all, FREE! Just tear open the paper seal and throw them in the drawer.

Or try some cheap salt shakers of baking soda to absorb moisture..
Works in the frige..and cheap.
