I think it is about time to do another advanced workout.
Building Muscle: This would be for people who have been advanced (for a year or more) and would like to see more muscle.
It would be necessary to use 3 different exercises for each muscle being worked.
Blast each muscle with much greater intensity and breaking down more muscle fiber in the process, and using weight as heavy as you can (or until failure) with good form. Allowing 96 hours to recuperate. Also a rotation for it would be something like this.
Mon. Shoulders, Triceps and abs (working muscles 3 x's ea.)
Tues. Back and Calves (working muscles 3 x's ea.)
Wed. Off
Thur. Chest, Biceps and abs (working muscles 3 x's ea.)
Fri. Off
Sat. Quads and Hams (working muscles 3 x's ea.)
Sun. Off
Repeat same sequence every week.
Here is another variant:
Mon. Shoulders, Triceps and abs (working muscles 3 x's ea.)
Tues. Back and calves (working muscles 3 x's ea.)
Wed. Off
Thur. Chest, biceps and abs (working muscles 3 x's ea.)
Fri. Quads and hams (working muscles 3 x's ea.)
Sat. Off
Sun. Shoulders, Triceps and abs (working muscles 3 x's ea.)
You would repeat the following Monday, picking up with day two workout.
Also, would love to see new step-ups and another form of cardio to go with this type of workout.
With the addition of premixes this would be just awesome.
I got this idea from a body builder. Can't see why we couldn't use it.
