Muscle Max Abs vs Ab Ripper X

OK, so I thought that Cathe's Muscle Max abs were similar in format (lower, sides, middle, upper sequense) to ARX. Although not quite as hard, but still a challenge, I thought it was a close compliment. I'm working from memory so I may have missed one of Cathe's exercises.


AB RIPPER X
In and out
seated bicycle
seated crunchy frog
crossed leg/wide leg sit-up
Fifer scissor
hip rock n raise
pulse up(Heels to Heaven)
roll up/v-up combo
oblique v up
leg climb
Mason(Kayak twist)
stretch

MUSCLE MAX ABS
Supermans
Hip Raises (Pulse Up, Heels to Heaven)
Reverse Crunches (similar to hip rock n raise, lower ab lift)
Bicycles- varying tempo (bicycles)
Side Oblique V's
Side Oblique Crunches (oblique v ups)
Crunches w/ arms extended over head (similar in focus to roll up/v ups but easier)
Explosive Crunches w/ knees in, reaching for heels

What are your thoughts?

Ab Ripper X really doesn't do anything for me but work my hip flexors. I prefer Cathe's workouts. I think they are more well rounded
