Muscle endurance vs. Muscle strength

I'm just wondering what the difference is between the two and the benefits of each one. Should I concentrate more on one than the other, or switch it up every couple weeks? Thanks so much!

You need both.

You need strength for everyday activities such as getting yourself out of a car seat or off the couch. You need endurance to continue doing activities such as walking while carrying grocery bags or a child.

There are three different muscle fibers: fast twitch fibers are for strength, slow twitch fibers are for endurance, and intermediate fibers that do both. You train for strength with up to 6 reps as heavy as you can. Most of Cathe's videos take care of the endurance aspect.

Endurance as in general terms means to stay strong as in to survive and go ahead in the exercise. While strength is the power in units, the capacity to which you can endure weight training to cardio to anything. So one needs muscle strength to be able to endure muscle exercise which is almost everything.
