muscle aches

Hi Cathe,

I've just started exercising with your show on FIT TV. I really like your workouts, and feel like I can obtain my goal more quickly. My question is, have you noticed a change in joint or muscle aches as you age. I hope this is not offensive. I am 42 yrs. old. I have been working out, consistently, 5 to 6 days a week, for 9 years, and I noticed lately, more aches than ever before. A month and half ago, I was stretching my hamstring, and felt it pull at the back of my glute, close to the hip. I let it rest, and have just started working out more vigorously, again. What would you recommend to begin with, so as not to aggravate my hip again? Thank you for your commitment and all your knowledge! I'm hooked!:D

i'm not the famous cathe , but my name is cathy:D if you don't mind, i will just put in my thoughts for what its worth. i am 52 and i can still do all the workouts that i've always done, but i definitely do feel it more in my old bones:D. i've been working out for almost 20 yrs now and of course started way back in the 80's with the all hi-impact. so, maybe that may have contributed to the aches. it will be good to hear cathes reply to this.

Thank you for your response. I feel very encouraged, I love to exercise, and was a little downhearted with the aches. I can't wait to hear from Cathe, as well! Have a great week and God bless!
