Moving anyone?

I saw a lot of posts of people house shopping on the what I'm addicted to post, and thought I would share this great website I found. neighborhoodscout.com it allows you to search information on any neighborhood in the U.S. telling you about income, house prices, neighborhood character, schools, etc. It's very cool. Some of it it will let you get for free, some is restricted to paying subscribers. I haven't paid yet, but when I'm closer to fine tuning my move I probably will.

Thanks, Heather - I just checked this out and it seems really great. I am in a pickle regarding the home search...I found one I REALLY like, but have learned that a new 8 lane "beltway" expressway it being built one mile to the east. So...I am weighing my options. It is tough, because I love the house - I am just concerend with home values and whether or not it will have good investment potential.

Dianna,
I think you're wise to be aprehensive. I am debating between a great house for a great price in a somewhat remote community, and a modest house for a high price in a vibrant community with more like minded folks. Ugh! No winning here.
