i don't know if you have seen it yet bet million dollar baby was a great movie to me. hiliary swank was buff and did an excellent job with the role. sin city is okay but i am not into the comic book turn into movie thing and i never really read the comic so i didn't get the whole movie, but the filming was done really well.

an oldie but goodie is boondock saints. it has sean patrick flannery(mmmm)and normun reedus playing irish twin brother ridding their boston town of drug lords and the mob.

thats all i have b/c i am a b-movie freak and not many appreciate my dark humor and love of independent film LOL

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Bill Murray is in it but it's an indie film so I don't know if you're into that.

Hitch was cute! I like Kevin James, he's really funny. We're big Family Guy fanatics, so we rented all of the seasons. I'm a politically incorrect kind of gal..lol. We also got Ellen Degeneres most recent stand up, Here & Now - it's hilarious! I love Ellen.

The Motorcycle Diaries was fantastic! It's one of those movies I keep thinking about for some reason. It's a foreign film set in S. America in 1952, about two medical student friends who take a semester off from school to go on a road trip, and I believe it was directed by Robert Redford. If you don't mind subtitles then I highly recommend it. If you have comcast you can "OnDemand" it for free if it's still available (it was last month).

Don't bother w/ Sin City - what a mess of a movie that was, interesting cinematography, but the story is boring and loooong (IMO).

Hero was good. Another subtitled movie. It was similar to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Jet Li is the lead. It's an action movie with a good story.

CurlyQ is right--Motorcycle Diaries is a great movie, even though it puts forth a romantic view of Che Guevara, a radical, left-wing, Marxist revolutionary who is responsible for the torture and deaths of thousands of people. Just bear that in mind when you watch it. This movie focuses on his early years when many of his radical ideas were formed.

The Chorus is another great foreign movie currently showing on cable "OnDemand". It's french with subtitles about a post WWII reform school for boys that's run by a tryannical headmaster. The headmaster hires a new math teacher. The new teacher, who loves music, puts together a boys choir against the orders of the headmaster. Reminiscent of Dead Poets Society and Mr. Hollands Opus.
