Movie " Human Trafficking"

RE: Movie

Looks like it is probably a very good movie but I can't watch stuff like that...it bothers me *TOO* much. Things like that tend to make me sick to my stomach...ugh. :-( x( ;(

RE: Movie

Wendy It did made me feel sick to my stomach. I just didn't relized how bad this is around the country. It is worst then drug dealers so i've heard. I guess this is one more thing that I have to worry about as a mother.

Remember the movie "The Accused" with Jodi Foster??? Well that rape scene made me sick. It bothered me for a looong time and to this day I can't watch that movie.

I saw "Monster" with Charlize Theron...EXCELLENT movie...BUT...the scene in the beginning where she is tied inside that guy's car also made me ill and bothered me for a long time as well.

I guess I am just very sensitive with this kind of stuff...x(

I am with you on "The Accused" Wendy. Weird even though I know it was fake and just a movie, I was also sick. I remember my DH innocently making a comment about what Jodi was wearing....OMG....he for sure got my bad side!!! And also my sailors mouthy language...:)...Carole

LOL Carole, I certainly understand why you got peeved!

The Accused is the first movie that ever bothered me. Since then it seems there is sooo much that I just can't handle anymore. I used to be able to watch horror movies, blood, guts, etc...not anymore. It bothers me big time these days. I avoid anything with violence in it pretty much...If someone simply gets shot or something it's not a big deal but if it's anything worse than that I can't handle it for some reason!

I watched "Monster" because someone told me how good it was...thankfully the only scene that bugged me was that one in the beginning...ended up really liking the movie despite that. :)

RE: Movie

its kinda funny wendy b/c i can still watch gorey movies and tell myself that is all fake and it doesn't bother me. movies with rape do! weird isn't it.

RE: Movie

My BIGGEST movie mistake was going to see "The Passion"!!!
I walked out of the theater when He was carrying the cross!!!
I was physically ill. I wanted to throw up. I couldn't handle it anymore. Everyone with me was crying. I was so sick that I COULDN'T cry!!! I never went back inside...I hung around the lobby probably for a good 45 minutes waiting for the movie to end!!! I bought DH the dvd because he thought the movie was excellent, which from what I had seen, I agree. I just couldn't deal. So he wants me to watch the rest of the movie with him. We have had the DVD for a long time now and I still don't have the nerve to put it in my DVD player....;(
