Movie downloads of the internet

Hi - Does anyone subscribe to a site where you can download unlimited movies for free. There is a fee you have to pay for technical support or something. If you have used this can you answer a few questions:

1. Is this legal?
2. Once I download a movie is it on my c drive or do I have to save them all to cd's.
3. Is the quality good?
4. What service do you use.
5. Does it take long to download.
6. Any issues with doing this?
7. I would have to watch the movie on my laptop - any issues there?

I am living in Austria for 6 months and can't seem to get very many English channels. Only news and videos. Very frustrating since I do not know German!

Thanks so much in advance!

hi Winter!

I download TV shows via itunes. It's usually $1.99 an episode, I don't know how much for movies. Paying for it usually makes it legal (I think!). The quality is fine and depending on how busy the service is it usually takes 20 minutes to 1/2 hour for a 45 minute show. I watch on my laptop -no issues. I don't know about the C drive thing, as I have a MAC. It goes right into my itunes and I open it from there.

good luck!

Thanks Sparrow,

I have itunes. It looks like you can't download movies on itunes.

I may just have to try a trial subscription to one of these sites. I will have to download the movies at work after work. I am not sure if that would cause any problems.

I thought itunes had flicks, what a drag. In that case, have you tried www.movieflix.com?
From what I understand, it's free to join but the movies cost 6-7 dollars, something like that. If I remember correctly the page also tells you what you need to make it work on your laptop.

HTH!
