Hey guys! I just got back from the Marble Slab. To raise money for our school students bidded on a "date" with different teachers. We took six kids for ice cream. Since this is only my second day on Eating for Life and my cheat day is not until Saturday I sat there and drank my water. I ate an apple and a piece of string cheese before we left. I'm so proud of me. I had to cut it off somewhere between giving up on eating, Teacher Appreciation Week, my Grandma's birthday party....I couldn't keep saying....after this one thing I'll start eating healthy again.

Sunday I did Body Max. Here is my plan for the rest of the week:
M: Cardio/abs
T: KPC Kicking & Punching Premix/BC Upper Only/ME Upper Only
W: CTX Power Circuit WU, cardio, & circuits only/BC Cardio & Lower Body Only/PS SL&A Floor work only/PLB Stability ball only(yea...we'll see about this one}( :eek: )
Th: Cardio/abs
F: PP Two Set Total Body Premix
S: Rest
Su: Rest or workout of choice

Hi Angela! Good for you not eating ice cream! I have a hard time turning that down...so I save it for Sunday when we take the kids to the local drive in place. Today was my daughter's kindergarten concert and it was great. She is so comfortable on stage.

Anyway, I'm starting my week on Sunday now, so I've done cardio 2x, lower and upper once. Today I have my first session with the trainer and it's a lower body day.

I can't wait for the weekend either!

I forgot you have a child in kindergarten. Isn't that an awesome year? They come into kindergarten so young and still kind of have that baby look about them. When I look at pictures of my students from the beginning of the year and compare them to the end of the year, so much growth can be seen. They learn so much in this year!

I have actually thrown my rotation for this week out the window. I'm just doing what I feel like doing. So I guess I was a little out of my mind yesterday. I did BC Everything But Core Premix/BC Core Only Premix/PS SL&A Floor only/C&W Heavy Weight Upper Body Premix minus the chest pushups/C&W stretch only. Today will be a cardio & abs but I don't know what yet. So far everything I have tried from Eating For Life has turned out great. The only "cheat" I've had this week...11 peanut butter M&M's. I feel like I'm finally where I need to be mentally to make this change in my eating. Have a good evening! How did your training session go? Is working on lower body with a trainer totally different then what you do at home?

Kindergarten really has been an awesome year for us. She's grown up so much and she's learned a lot too. You must love teaching this age group. I love being around her and her friends.

LOL re: your rotation! Good for you though, going with how you feel. The times I've tried to stick with a rotation when I didn't really want to, it's never gone well.

I did lower body and cardio at the gym, and yes, my workout with the trainer was much different than what I'd do at home. She had me go heavier on squats than I ever have before, which wouldn't be possible for me at home b/c I don't have a rack or a spotter. I also used a couple of machines (leg curl) to help strengthen my knees. A good workout and I'm sure I'm going to feel it tomorrow! I feel like I'm going to learn a lot from the trainer and I'm looking forward to my next session.

Sounds like Eating for Life is going great for you! Don't worry about those M&Ms...I love the pb ones! I had a not so healthy lunch today...but I'm not letting it derail me! My next meal was a balanced one. What I like about it is that it's so easy to follow, and with a little planning it's easy to do when you're away from home. Of course, knowing that I have a cheat day coming at the end of the week is incentive for me to eat right!

Last night for dinner I made Hot Stuff...chili type soup...delicious! I'm really enjoying all the foods so far. Yesterday I did SJP WU&Step Only/KPC Combo's 1, 2, & 3, abs, & stretch only....nice workout.

I plan for today....MIC WU&Hi Lo only/CTX PC Kickbox & Step Circuits only/PLB Stability Ball only/CTX PC abs&stretch only/PLB stretch only.

Tomorrow some sort of cardio & upper body.

Hi Ladies....Sorry I have been MIA. I have been busy!!!!! Today is Ultimate Buns, and some of that horrid Yoga. I don't know how much I will do because I really do not care for it. My eating has been very good too. Talk to you later.

LOL Lori, I'm sorry you feel that way about the yoga tape! It's the one from P90X, right? Maybe you could sub another yoga workout or even a thorough stretching tape for it instead. Cool It Off from SS is a good one IMO, but I don't know how it may compare to Yoga X.

I haven't worked out yet today, I plan to go to the gym around lunchtime though - upper body and cardio, abs at home later. The trainer showed me a really tough (for me) ab move yesterday that I'm going to practice, along with some Cathe abwork.

Have either of you gotten your preorder yet? I can't even remember if you preordered or not, I am expecting the advanced high step dvd.

I actually did it....MIC WU&Hi Lo Only/CTX PC Step & Kickbox Circuits Only/PLB Stability Ball only/PC planks&abs&stretch/PLB stretch only...needed the extra streching....whew!:p

I'm so excited the weekend is almost here. DH and I are going to staying a nice hotel downtown Saturday night. It will be so nice to relax away from home and to hangout together downtown.:7
 
Good Morning Guys.....I am taking a rest day today. I am totally whipped. I have been flying for 2 weeks now, and I just need it.

Angela- ENJOY your weekend. It does sound relaxing, and fun!!!!

Rnadi- I ordered all of the workouts, and should be getting mine today. I am kinda looking forward to it!!!!!!!

I only orderd the Advanced DVD....mine is going to be here June 1...woo hoo! Tonight I did a mix of PP/SS Upper Body work and the abs work from both. It was a really nice workout. Someone posted it on this forum. Have a terrific weekend!
