Did both of you order the new Advanced High Step workout???? Angela....I saw your UPS post, and it was cute!!!!! I you going to try it tonight????

I am still doing P90X. I am starting my 3rd week. I am sore kinda, all over, but feeling harder. Today i will be doing Arms and Shoulders, my favorite, and the ankle weight work from L&G's.

My eating has not been bad. I am trying to eat healthy, and not diet. After I finish my recovery week, that I start next Monday, I will weigh and measure and see how my first month at this went.

Hi Lori,

I got the Advanced High Step workout Friday but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Did you Angela? It looks like fun.

I haven't worked out since Thursday. After my killer lower body workout on Wednesday I was a little sore...but that turned into EXTREMELY sore on Friday and I wasn't able to walk normally again until Sunday, lol. My calves were so tight and sore that it was very painful. I'll never do another workout without stretching afterward again. It was very stupid of me. And all b/c I usually skip calf work and did a couple of non-weighted sets with the trainer. Anyway, I'll be back at it again today with upper body (w/the trainer) and cardio.

My eating wasn't great over the weekend (we were away) but it's been good since I've got back.

Glad to hear you like P90X Lori. How's the leg work in this series?

Randi- Alot of people say they could not walk their legs were so sore from the leg workout. I get sore, but not like that. maybe it is because I have been doing leg work every day. Today I am just going to do part of the Yopga workout, and that is it. I just CAN NOT get into that workout, but I will give it a try today.

Angela....Did you try Cathe's new workout yet?????

I'm sorry guys....I totally missed this thread. Yes...I tried the new Advanced High Step. I like it a lot! Leg presses galore...whew! While actually doing it I find BC much harder...weird huh? But, I did have DOMS for a couple of days in the lower body after doing the Advanced High Step. I don't get DOMS with BC. I hope to incorporate the Advanced High Step and BC in my rotation next week along with 2 pure cardio days one upper body strength day and one lower body strength day. I don't know if I could actually aford it but I'm so wanting an entire new series from Cathe! Have a great day!

Edited to say that I feel the music leaves a lot to be desired in this workout...the only negative in my book. It's just kind of blah. I hope Cathe goes back to the type of music used in the Body Blast series and Intensity series...not the same music but the same type. It was much more motivating.:7
 
Hi guys, I think I posted on the other thread about my Saturday workout and how I didn't finish it. I'm sick today which has to be the reason why I was feeling so lousy that day. No workout for me since Sat. and hopefully I'll be feeling better by tomorrow.

Oh Randi!!!! Being sick when it is so hot out is terrible! I hope you feel better soon.

This week is my recovery week from P90X, so today will be Shape It Up from SS.

Have either of you tried Cathe's new workout yet??

Randi...feel better soon. I did HSTA today....it seemed more difficult today then the first time I tried it. I didn't eat enough to fuel my workout and I changed workout times...I worked out this a.m. and my body was like....HUH???!!!....WHAT'S GOIN' ON????!!!! Anyway, I like this workout a lot and think I will follow Cathe's June rotation. I may have to find a way to throw in a couple of pure strength days here and there. Our weekend away was wonderful! We really had a lot of relaxing fun!!!! I'm ready to go again!
