HELP gang!!!

I have 30 pounds to lose and lost my motivation.

I have been on Weight Watchers for quite a while now and have lost 10 pounds (but have 30 more to go). I have a lot of Cathe's tapes and use them religiously, but in no certain order.

I need some advice and a big swift kick in the rearend!

I'm wondering if i should go back to the CTX series and start with a tape a day or should I dig right into the Intensity Series. The Intensity Series looks so fun I hate to have it sit on my shelf.

I need to find a rotation to stick to - get my head on straight with eating - and try to enjoy life at the same time without getting mad at myself.

Any advice from you that have been there and done that?

Thanks in advance for ANY help or kicks. :)

Marcia.

Hi Marcia! What helps me is to log everything. Every Fri. on my rest day I take the time to jot down what my next week's rotation will be. I look at that rotation to make sure I've hit every body part as well as doing 3x a week of cardio. If I want to & have the time for it, I'll throw in yoga. Some weeks its total body/cardio/yoga; other weeks its a split routine & cardio, etc. It depends on the tapes you have & the time you have also. The possibilities are endless. You have to be consistent especially w/WW; life sometimes gets in the way of exercising & that's ok but don't make a habit of it; try as hard as you can to be consistent. Don't have any junk food in the pantry or refrigerator. Drink plenty of water & take a multi-vitamin every day getting plenty of rest. This is only sure fire way of seeing results. Any time you need help, we're here for you. HTH, Kathy

PS: Check out rotations on videofanatics.com if you can't up w/anything on your own.

Hi Marcia,

Why not try the Intensity Series? You don't have to do all of every workout - do what you can. It IS a lot of fun and the best way to get good at it is to do it! Nothing is more motivating then doing something that is fun! :7

Hi Marcia,

I second digging into the Intensity series. So much variety and lots of fun.

Are you still running? Are you doing any more half marathons this year?

Picking out fun workouts that you want to do, or doing new workouts like the intensity series may help with the motivation. Just keep plugging away, I know I go through slumps now and then too.

Marcia~DEFINITELY jump into the "I" Series. They will motivate you bigtime. Fun, fun tapes with great music. They are just what you need to get you going. Keep us posted.

Hi Beverly:

Yes, I'm still running just not quite as often as before when I was in training. I miss it a lot, but it's hard to get into the groove without a race on my schedule in sight. There isn't much for races around here now that fall is here and it's getting colder. But, I definitely plan on doing the 1/2 marathon in Duluth again next June that was a complete blast.

Thanks for asking. Marcia :)
