mosquito bites

Does anyone know of a way to make mosquito bites go away faster? I got the bejesus bitten out of me last Friday and even though they don't itch anymore, they still look hideous. I want to wear shorts & bathing suits this weekend without looking like I'm diseased!

I don't have an answer but I sure do hope someone does!! This happens to me every summer and I feel like I spend the entire summer covered with red dots!!

I'm struggling with these bites as well! I was so itchy that I tried toothpaste! Would you know it took the itchys away! I believe this may even help dry them out.

Benadryl Gel

If they are really bad oral benadryl will work but it makes me very sleepy. Howeverr, you cuould take it at bedtime if it affects you that way.

I use a hydrocortisone cream which stops the itch and subsequently speeds the healing process (since I am not an itchy, scratchy mess).

I am also a BIG user of Avon Skin So Soft to prevent the problem in the first place!

From now on I will definitely spray myself before I hang out outside, but it was the first time this year they bothered me, so I just didn't think of it and didn't have any spray around at the time.
