More P90X talk...

Couldn't take it anymore, had to order it! I went to the site and it is now $99.00 (that's $50 off!). I jumped! I did it through ebates...I think. Haven't received anything as of yet but it has only been a few.

I have a ? for P90X users. What equipment do I need to really utilize this system? I have dumbells, sets of 2 lbs.,5 lbs., 8 lbs., 10 lbs, 12 lbs., 15 lbs. 20 lbs, 25 lbs., 35 lbs.. I also have a barbell that I can load up more than I will ever need. I also have the club step and high step. Do I need the pull up bar and bands?

Hey, don't think for a second I am going anywhere, I am ready to buy Cathe's next series, even though I have yet to see Hardcore (can't wait for that).

I am currently doing the P90X Classic rotation with my husband. I really like it but it's going to be hard to stick with it once the Hardcore series gets here.
We purchased the Door Gym (Just do a search on the internet) for pull-ups and couldn't be happier with it. It fits in the doorway but can be taken down quickly. They suggest having a heart rate moniter and yoga blocks. We have neither yet it still works just fine.
Enjoy!

I haven’t started yet (but will on Monday!) but so far, it seems (from my preview) like you’ll need dumb bells, resistance bands or pull up bar, push up bars (if you use). I don’t really have anyplace to put a pull up bar so I purchased (and received today) the resistance bands from the beachbody site and this little kit that allows you to hang them from the door hinge. That way, you can remove them after your workout and you can use them in a room that you may not want them there permanently (ie I work out in my living room).

Sorry, my first response wasn't very thorough. You will need dumbbells or a resistance band. I use dumbbells: 5's, 10's,12's and 15's. You may need one increment higher or lower depending upon your strength level.
Push up bar are optional. I do use the pull-up bar but this can be substituted with bands. Heart rate moniter suggested- I do without for now. Yoga blocks are also suggested but I am able to do fine without them.
I also use my high step for tricep dips and inverted push-ups. You could easily substitute a chair.
Have fun!
