More efficient workouts

Cathlete
I just started working full-time, so I'm sure all of you working gals know what I mean when I really don't feel like working out when I get home (especially in the beginning of the week!)

What would be the most efficient way to workout? I just have 5lbs to lose.

My old schedule was:
M- "easy" kickboxing class (I sweat & feel it in my legs, but it's not heartpumping)
T- off
W-Spinning (Tough!!)
Th-Spinning (Tough!!)
Sat- Cathe step

(I do weights at the gym M,W,Th; plus 1 yoga tape a week)
I was thinking of cutting out the easy class sometimes and just doing a really tough Cathe tape on Saturday. Could I get by on 3 tough cardios a week if I'm too tired to do 4?? I thought I'd eat better at work, and I do usually, but there are always cakes and stuff there so I'm not a "perfect" eater).

Thanks for ANY advice!

Do not pass go, walk right past those work goodies. Bring your own snack stuff.

Since you are just getting acclaimated (spelling?) into working full-time, I'd order the CTX series.

My own schedule usually goes (if I'm not on a CTX rotation):

Weights only on my days off (with the exception of Sunday when I work 1/2 day) and cardio on the other days.

Sunday: cardio and weights
Monday: off
Tuesday: legs weights work (40 minutes)
Wed: Cardio
Thur: Cardio
Fri: Cardio and weights (a day off work)
Sat: Same as Friday

Another important hint: WORK OUT IN THE MORNING! Then you won't be tempted to skip it in the evening when you are tired.

One last thing, take the steps at work whenever possibe, and if you have an hour lunch, walk the first half and eat the second half.

For what it's worth.

I cross-train cardio - step tapes, hi/lo, kickbox and walking usually. I have a Nordictrack and bike which I need to incorporate also along with jumping rope.
