Hi Mommies!

No one as started this thread yet? I hope you all aren't off having your babies while I am still sitting here!;)
I thought I would take a break from cleaning and packing just to see what everyone is up to. We are getting ready to move this week so everything here is nuts. Plus our new house isn't finished so we have to live with the in laws for a few days. Its not going to be fun living out of a suit case but thats all I can do about that.
I had my baby shower on Sat. That was fun and I received alot of nice things but there are still some things that I need. Probably no point in going out and buying them until I am in the new house. Lets just hope the baby doesn't come to early.
I also have my apt with the specialist this week. This is the Dr that will be delivering the baby so I think its just a formality more then anything, just to meet him.

Anyway...should get back to cleaning and packing. I need more boxes though so I am comming to a stand still.

Lori:)

Good morning everyone,

Lori - wow, that is the second week in a row, you beat me starting our check-in ;) . You must be excited moving into the new house, especially then you get to set up the baby's room. I will have my baby shower the coming Sunday. I can't wait, I am so excited }( .

Here are my workouts from last week:

Sun - off
Mon - 30 min treadmill walk
Tue - PS Chest, Shoulders, Triceps
Wed - PS Back and Biceps
Thu - 30 min treadmill walk
Fri - The Perfect Pregnancy Workout (did that for the first time and wow, it got me sore)
Sat - off

I am still feeling good and sleeping good :) .

We did a lot of moving around in our house this weekend and tonight we get to put up the crib in the baby's room, I can't wait :7 .

The new workouts are shipping out this week and I sure hope I will be getting mine sometime this week, I can't wait to try them, of course I will have to modify them quite a bit, but I can start with the premixes maybe. I know for sure, I won't be able to do Drill Max, it looks just plain evil ;-) .

I hope that everybody else is doing good. Looking forward to hear from you.

Kristine :)

Good Morning Ladies,

Hope everyone is doing well!! Lori & Kristine happy 30th week!! I'm so psyched to be in the 30's...not long to go now :) My shower is on saturday -- really looking forward to that. We probably won't put the crib up for a few months after the baby is here. My 4-year old slept in a bassinet until she was about 3 months, so we'll probably do the same with this one.

No exercise going on here, but I am trying to stay pretty active instead of sitting around with my feet up. I have noticed a major decrease in my appetite and am starting to feel the slightest bit of discomfort. I'm really HUGE (several people felt the need to tell me that!), so maybe that has something to do with it.x(

Anyhow, hope everyone has a terrific week.

toodles,

trish

Hi everyone!
Wow, Trish, Kristine, and Lori, you're all getting so close. Can't believe your in your "30's" either:) That's wonderful!

How fun that you guys are having baby showers, it's so nice to get some new things for the baby. Since this is my 3rd, not sure I'll be having a shower, but am hoping I'll get a couple of items for Christmas for the baby (don't really need much, but would like one of those nice Fisher Price papasans - sp?).

Sounds like everyone is feeling pretty good, and I'm happy to report, so am I. I've had no headaches now for a month! That is really good for me. The only hip pain I'm having now seems to be at night when I'm on one side for too long. I may need to get an iron supplement though, and will find out if I'm having a bit of anemia after I go in for my 28 week blood work next Monday. I also have to do the good old glucose test x(!

Had a good week last week for workouts, Kristine how do you like the Perfect Pregnancy workout? I'm going to do it sometime this week again, I really like it. By the way, LOVE my prenatal fitness class at my hospital, so glad I'm doing that. Here's what I did:

Monday – Fit for 2 Prenatal Class (Cardio & Toning – 30 min)
Tuesday – D. Austin Fit & Firm Pregnancy (Cardio – 20 min) & L. Hart Fit Mama (Prenatal stretch – 10 min)
Wednesday – Fit for 2 Prenatal Class (Cardio & Toning – 45 min)
Thursday – Rest Day
Friday – D. Austin Fit & Firm Pregnancy (Cardio & Toning – 40min)
Saturday – Water Aerobics (45 min)
Sunday – L. Hart FitMama (Cardio & Yoga Fat Burn – 40 min)

Everybody have a fantastic week;)

Hi Stacey,

How do you like your pregnancey dvds? I have really slacked off for the last two months, but I have the urge to get back into some routine. If there were one dvd that you preferred the most, which would it be? Previously I worked out to Cathe about 5 times a week.

Thanks,
trish

Hi Stacey,

I really like the Perfect Pregnancy workout. I just got it last week and so far did it once and it sure had me sore for a couple of days, I think it came from the labor squats. I am sure I will do it a couple more times this week.
I also order the Perfect Post workout and I am looking forward to do it with my little girl, it looks like a lot of fun and I hope she'll enjoy it too.

Kristine :)

Hi Trish!

Well, if you're used to working out to Cathe 5 days a week, then you're most likely more advanced than I am (I just began with Cathe this past Dec. with her Basic Step dvd). So, I'm thinking the Perfect Pregnancy Workout would be a good one. It is a challenging upper and lower body toning workout modified for beginner and intermediate/advanced.

I'm actually really happy with Denise Austin's (I know, she's flaky, but I like her new dvd), and Leisa Hart's also. Both give a nice cardio and toning workout and are nice and low impact.

Hope that's somewhat helpful:)

Kristine,
So glad you like the Perfect Pregnancy workout:) I think it's nice that there are some quality prenatal dvd's being produced now.

Have a great week!

hi all,

I had a slow week this week and only managed to get in two workouts: Basic Step and Chriti Taylor's Solid Gold Cardio. I've decided I'd try a belly support tube - so it should arrive any day now. Has anyone else tried one of these things? It sounds like everyone is doing very well - now have a couple of posters joining the 30+ week ranks - congrats to all of you...in the home stretch now!

Thanks Stacey -- I just read a few reviews of both Perfect Pregnancy and Fit Mama. I'm going to see if I can find either one locally. I'll let you know how it goes:)

Good Morning Ladies,

I have been MIA most of the week. What a busy week I had. We had to move so that was a 3 day affair. Now we don't have any internet connection b/c we are staying with my in laws until our new house is finished.
I can't wait to get settled into our new house. We are leaving out of bags, one dog is with my mother while the other one is staying at a friends house. Everything is everywhere! Anyway, when I am headed towards a nervous break down I just tell myself it is for a couple of weeks and it will be over in no time...or atleast I hope!
So 31 weeks today!!! 3 of us are offically in the single digit weeks. I can't wait to have this over with but I really don't want my baby to make an appearance yet. That would just throw a big monkey wrench into all of this! hahaha

Anyway..I should do some work. This is my last weekend to work, I have one more shift after today and then I am done. Although, if the schedule wasn't all screwed up I think I would work next week to. Oh well!
Lori:)

Hello everyone!

I haven't worked out for about 2 weeks now. I'm so tired (work full time) and fight to stay awake all day long. By the time I get home, I can barely move. I'm out for the night around 8/8:30 every night and get up around 6:30...still tired. I know the Cathe workouts I get in the mail today will inspire me to get back into it. I'm so tired everyday I feel like I'm on sleeping pills. I hope this fatigue doesn't last too much longer.
