Good morning ladies,

How is everybody doing? I am still feeling great, but didn't get very many workouts in last week, because I was getting ready for my shower yesterday, but I am back on track now, ok, here are my workouts from last week.

Sun - off
Mon - 30 min treadmill walk
Tue - 30 min treadmill walk
Wed - off
Thu - The Perfect Pregnancy workout
Fri - off
Sat - off

I will get my new DVDs on Wednesday and I am so excited. Hopefully there are some premixes on it that I still can do.

I had my shower yesterday and I had a wonderful time and I got lots of presents. It's now all in the baby's room and is waiting to be washed and put up ;-). I also will have a shower at work on 11/16. Wow, it's getting closer everyday and I am so excited. I can't wait to meet my little baby girl.
Next weekend I am going to the Lamaze class and I am looking forward to that. It'll be 4 hours on Friday night and 7 hours on Saturday.

I hope that everybody else is doing good.

Kristine :)

Good Morning Mommies,

No workouts for me ;), but had a very busy weekend - baby shower on saturday and volunteer work on sunday at our local Ronald McDonald house. I am pooped!! The shower was lots of fun and I was surprised how emotional I got - must be the hormones:eek:

My sleep is getting worse..I only sleep through the night 2 or 3 times a week. Makes it very hard to stay awake during the day at work (I've been caught napping a couple of times in meetings:eek:)

I have a Dr.'s visit at noon today...I think I'll be switching to the two-week visit schedule:7. Can't wait!

I haven't ordered any dvds yet...please share how you like them:+

toodles,
trish

oops! Posted on the wrong weekly thread. See how tired and spacey I am these days? teehee!

Here it is again:

Hello everyone!

I haven't worked out for about 2 weeks now. I'm so tired (work full time) and fight to stay awake all day long. By the time I get home, I can barely move. I'm out for the night around 8/8:30 every night and get up around 6:30...still tired. I know the Cathe workouts I get in the mail today will inspire me to get back into it. I'm so tired everyday I feel like I'm on sleeping pills. I hope this fatigue doesn't last too much longer.

Hi Everyone!

Kristine and Trish, sounds like your showers were a lot of fun, how exciting. It's so neat that you guys are due at the same time.
Dani, welcome and believe me, I know about the fatigue. Mine was terrible the first trimester, and now that I'm in the third trimester I'm finding myself absolutely exhausted at the end of the day. I've been going to bed a lot earlier.

Pregnancy is going well. Had my 28 week check up this morning and got the results back from the glucose test. The results looked great so I don't have to do the long glucose test!! Very excited about that because I did have to do it during Emma's pregnancy. I was however pretty peeved that I had to wait 45 min to see the doctor! x( Sheesh, and, that was with my two kids waiting with me. Luckily, they were champs and behaved for me.

Here's what I did last week:

Monday – Fit for 2 Prenatal Class (Cardio & Toning – 45 min)
Tuesday – Rest Day
Wednesday – Fit for 2 Prenatal Class (Cardio & Toning – 45 min)
Thursday – Rest Day
Friday – D. Austin Fit & Firm Pregnancy (Cardio & Toning – 40min)
Saturday – Rest Day
Sunday – L. Hart FitMama (Cardio & Yoga Fat Burn – 40 min)

Have a great week:)

Stacey

good morning everyone,

I am sorry to hear you are so exhausted Dani. I felt the same way. While I am 36 weeks now and tired, it's nowhere near the exhaustion I felt earlier on...luckily, it does pass! listen to your body, if you don't have the energy to working out, don't do it - just try to do a little bit on the weekend if you feel more up to that.

I'm glad you enjoyed your baby showers Kristine and Trish:) Stacey, I notice you are doing fitness classes for pregnancy? How are you finding them?

My pregnancy is going well - the baby hasn't engaged yet and I haven't had any Braxton Hicks...funnily enough, the baby is due on the same day as her father was and he was 2.5 weeks late!! so, I have this sneaky feeling that the baby will end up like him! raspberry tea here I come:)

For some reason, I am feeling better than ever during my pregnancy as it progresses - less sickness, more motivation etc...

Mon - CT Totally Hot low impact modifiers
Weds - BS
Sat - CT solid gold low impact modifiers

I hope everyone has a good week this week!

Annie

Dani - Hang in there!! The first trimester is a drag. Are you having any sickness?

Annie - Fingers crossed that the baby doesn't follow in DH's footsteps!!

Stacey - I'm so impressed with your workouts!! Keep up the good work!

Had my vist with the Dr. yesterday. All is well. I'm on the two-week visit schedule - yippee! For the first time last night I felt some pressure as if the baby is starting to move down (the Dr. said that since this is my second pregnancy, the baby has more room and will move up and down more than my first). The pressure was actually a little painful - different than with my first. I'm thinking of calling my Dr. just to make sure I'm feeling what I should be.

Anyhow, take care ladies.

Good Morning Ladies!

It sounds like everyone is doing well.

Dani- I know how you're feeling. I couldn't do anything for most of the first trimester. When I would attempt a workout, even a modified lower intensity workout, I would be worn out for days afterward. I'm just finishing my 13th week and I finally feel like my energy is starting to come back.

I had by second doctor appointment last Wednesday and was able to hear the heartbeat. Everything seems to be going very well although I'm supposed to slow down on the weight gain (thankfully it wasn't to bad and the doctor thinks that now that I'm out of the first trimester and should be getting my energy back I can control it with exercise) and we're finally starting to tell people outside our immediate family.

Finally I have some workouts to post. After my doctor appointment last week I decided to get myself back into the habit of working out to just alternate cardio and strength days for the first two weeks and focus on completing 20 minutes - anything more would be a bonus. It's actually working - I'm looking forward to my workouts and often find myself doing a little more than I had planned.

Thursday: Denise Austin Fit & Firm Cardio Section (20 min)
Friday: Denise Austin F & F Strength Section (20 minutes)
Saturday: Walked the dog - 1 hour 15 min (Piper's a puppy and not so good on the leash so there were alot of stops and starts). Crunch Yoga Mama (loved this workout).
Sunday: Walked the dog - 1 hour 20 minutes - even got my husband to go with on this one.
Monday: Preggie Bellies - 55 minutes.

I'm going to be travelling the next three weeks for work but I should be able to fit in workouts on the days I'm home and a few of the hotels have treadmills so maybe I can get a walk in.

Have a great week everyone! Happy Halloween!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone. The last two days I did the 20 minute Turbo Jam workout and I feel sooooooo much better.

I just got Cathe's new ones, so I'm going to try and figure out a Mix and Match and make my own 20 minute workout. I heard there's a 10 minute cardio workout at the end of Cardio Fusion. I'm thinking of adding a warm up and cool down and there's a perfect 20 minute workout. Yay! It feels like 20 minutes is just right for me now.

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!!! Have a wonderful weekend!!

Hi Annie!
Wow! you're so close now, how exciting:) I absolutely love my prenatal fitness class through my local hospital, very worth it. It's fun to work out with a bunch of pregnant gals:) I've learned a lot and it's a very supportive group.

Have a great weekend.
