Good morning mommies,

I hope you all had a good weekend. Unfortunately, they are always too short ;-) .

Here are my workouts from last week (well, I am not quite sure about some of them, I know I worked out 5 times last week :p )

Sun - 30 min treadmill walk
Mon - off
Tue - 30 min treadmill hill climb
Wed - off
Thu - PUB (no abs)
Fri - L&G
Sat - 30 min treadmill walk

Hadn't felt my little girl move much at all last week, but she started up again on Saturday :7 .

I sometimes have a stomach ache, is that normal? Other than that I feel great, love the second trimester and the belly is growing, hehe :) .

Hope you all doing well
Kristine :)

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone has had a good week and weekend. Strange that summer is winding down already. Time REALLY flies when you're pregnant.

here's what I've done last week

Mon: LIS
tues: Firm UB
Weds:KV cardio
Thurs: off
Fri: BS

My baby was quiet for 2-3 days last week, but she/he was kicking up a storm all weekend. Probably a harbinger for the future - yikes!

What sort of stomach ache do you have Kristine? My stomach aches down low like where it is stretching out. The babies head is down there too - can be uncomfortable. Keeping everything low impact seems to help a lot. I miss jumping around though!

oh yes, that sort of stomach ache is common I think...I get heartburn and reflux...so, x( to all of these ailments:)

Hi moms!
Sounds like you are all having good weeks except for the stomach pains:( I haven't had stomach pains so much as just the aches associated with my stomach expanding. I've also felt a lot more baby movement which is so fun. This past week went much better for me. I think it's the best energy I've had in quite a while and I was able to get in 5 workouts which is my goal. Here's what I did:

Monday – Cathe F. Basic Step (30 min)
Tuesday – Rest Day
Wednesday – Rest Day
Thursday – Leisa Hart’s FitMama (60 min)
Friday – Elliptical (20min) + Arms Toning(10 min)
Saturday – Prevention Walk Your Way Slim (Cardio – 45 min)
Sunday – The Perfect Pregnancy Workout (Toning – 35 min)

Have a great week everyone. ;)

Hi Kristine!

I love Perfect Pregnancy workout and would highly recommend it, especially to moms to be who are more active. It is very straightforward, clearly explained, and well structured. It is all toning (she even does push ups and tricep dips off a chair), and there are modifications for beginner and intermediate/advanced.

I also really like Prenatal Pilates During Pregnancy with Niece Pecenka, it is challenging and very well done.

The only portions of these dvd's I don't do is the abdominals, simply because it just doesn't feel comfortable to me. I'm sure there are plenty of other moms who can do the abdominals and feel fine, but not for me. I do the kegel exercises though.

Anyway, hope that's helpful! FYI: Denise Austin is coming out with a Fit and Firm Pregnancy dvd next week, I've previewed it on Collage.com and it looks really promising (even though Denise is pretty flaky and annoying, I think I can stand her for a few months if the workout is good). My local library is ordering it for me, so I'll see how it is. It is a combination of cardio and strength training.

Ok, sorry for the book:) Let me know if you order the dvd how you like it.

Hi Girls,

How is everyone this week? I guess we are getting ready to start a new week tomorrow?:)

Once again, I wish I could report some workouts but I didn't do anything...hahahaha. Man, I am going to be such bad shape once this kid comes out! LOL
I weighed myself at my MIL's house yesterday and I was happy to see that I have stayed the same for 3 weeks now. I was a little worried my weight gain was going to keep on clim'in! I haven't been as hungry lately and when I am, I can go a little while without eating so I am not constintly stuffing my pie hole!

Anyway, glad everyone had a good week! I don't think I can upload pics anymore b/c DH took our computer to work. I have to see how I can do it on DD's computer. Its time to update my belly pics!

Lori:)
