Good Morning Ladies:)

Im up bright and early on a Sunday morning to get my workout in.We are going to have a very busy day with the christianing and birthday party (all at the same time)My friend is comming over again to workout with me and I think we will just do UB today and I will do cardio after she leaves.
I had a good weekend.I did a little bit of shopping but not to much.Is amazing how fast you can spend $300 though:eek: I needed some bras and panties, plus shoes for work.And of course, DD wanted a couple of things as well.
Eating was o.k but yesterday was a pick feast, which in the end, left me feeling gross.But today is a new day and a new week so I will be starting fresh today:)
I didn't get time to read through everyone post from the last couple of days, even though I wanted to.But I have 10 min before my buddy gets here so I gotta cruise.
I will check back again later. Oh, DH's secret plans are looking VERYYYYYYYYYYYY good, so I may have some great news to share this week.This is a weird town, where everyone knows every body and no one likes to see the other get ahead.SO when he lost his job I knew that there were some people around who enjoyed this.Just b/c people are so strange.If he gets what he is working on...the opposite will occur, the same people who were giggling inside when he lost his job are going to be jealous when they hear what he as got.I am not the bragging type and I don't keep up with the Jone's but I will enjoy this, just b/c DH has had a hard couple of monthes.

Anyway...off to workout, I will check back later,

I hope everything works out for you and DH Lori. And you should brag if people are that pathetic in your town. Rub it in their faces! I hate people like that. Nothing better to do.
Glad you're having a good weekend. I need bras too. Hate buying them, but I have no choice.

Everything is AOK here this morning. I am down 2 lbs. and 1/4 inch off my thighs, hips and waist! So I am thrilled about that.

I was going to do cardio again today, but w/ IMAX2 tomorrow I've decided on MIS instead. I'm going to put a few applications in this morning and then off to my Mom's for my nephew's BD. So hopefully at some poing later I'll get it in. If not, no sweat. After all it IS a rest day!

Good morning Lori and the rest of my fitness buddies. Good Sunday morning to ya!

Today is just a StretchMax segment. I haven't done SB in it's entirety yet, only portions on the TimeSaver, and since I just got this DVD, I'm like Kali, I'm itching to try it. I may or may not. Even though I WANT to, it may not be the best thing for me. I can feel overtraining in its most subltest forms and I have to be careful.

Becky - I hope your neck is better. I thought about you often yesterday. I know how painful that is. I hurt my neck once years ago lifting a full mop bucket out of a high utility sink. I had to have an MRI, the whole nine yards, but it was only muscular. I couldn't even turn my neck side to side and forget about finding a comfortable sleeping position. Have DH massage it, that will loosen up the muscles that I'm sure are pulled very tight.

Hey Kali! Girls are entering the last week of the rotation. Sad isn't it. I have enjoyed this one!! I will try to take some time today to look through the rotations, y'all do the same and we'll compare notes, etc., to have one to do if we don't like the one Cathe puts out for October. I guess we'd start the new one on Monday the 3rd.

I have all the DVDs for this week's schedule except for the new ones. I was going to sub the LowMax step combos for the Low Impact Step but since I subbed it yesterday, I may look at that again and see if I want to do something else. Of course, for all the stretching, I am using StretchMax.

Wendy - how did Joey do yesterday with his diet? Better I hope.

Terri - did you have fun playing pool? Will your son's DVD be available for purchase on their website when it is released? I am definitely going to pick it up, then when he is famous, I can say "hey I **know** his mother!!! I'll have an inside track to get backstage passes!!!:)

Lori - it's nice that you have a workout buddy, that is sooo motivating. I know my workout buddies on this forum have helped me beyond words to stay on track.

Have a wonderful Sunday guys. I'll be off and on all day. Relaxing day at home even if I do have to do some housework.

Im glad I am not the only crazy one up at that hour.Its not so early now, its a little pass 10.
I did GS B,S,&B and I managed to do 8 intervals of Imax3, and I think I worked harder then I every have before doing that workout.I really jumped higher and did every jack there was (sometimes I cheat:) )I think by doing this made me feel as if I was rushing b/c I was short on time.
Kali-Great job with the weightloss!:) YOur doing awesome! People in this town are weird.I didn't grow up here so I was never use to it but one person always has to out do the other.I am glad I kept my "i don't care" attitude.The way I see it...they can have their bills:)

Today I am going to do a run and plb. Oh and maybe a 10 minute workout. I need to clean my office so I can start another work week in a cleaner office :)

Jane- That is so sweet of you about my sons album. I am not sure if he will sell it on his website. I will ask him today. I will however have copies and can get you one. He will be available in record stores and itunes for those who have ipods to download. Thanks so much for your interest!

Kali-I had fun at pool but lost every game I played! Thats ok as I play for fun :) Some of my friends are really good. I did good at dinner tough. I had grilled chicken and brocolli and some black beans.

Happily I can tell you that my neck is MUCH better this morning!!! :D I am HAPPY, HAPPY! I even cut our grass this morning!!
Thank you for all the thoughts everyone. It was painful and restricting and I hated thinking I wouldn't be able to finish the rotation, but count me back in! I still don't think I'll be putting a barbell on my neck, but can sub. holding dumbbells at my side.;-) I did that for years & years until I finally got my barbell anyway!
My neck is still very tight, but not painful like it was. I will still put heat on it and Jane, good idea, will ask Dh to rub it and hope it loosens up somemore soon!

I am excited about Imax 2 tomorrow because I love that one!

I will look at some rotations this week.....good suggestion.
Is anyone else thinking they need to work more upperbody this coming month??

Hey girls,

Today I will do LG floorwork twice and the bike. I was supposed to do it yesterday, but didn't get around to it. That bike will get my legs stronger, and trust me they are weak!x(

Lori- It is good you have a friend who you can exercise with. A few years ago I used to exercise with my SIL until I lost weight.Some how she didn't want to exercise together anymore. I have an idea why. Hope everything goes well with the Christianing and B-day party.

Kimmy Kali- Congrats on your weightloss girl!:) All that hard work does pay off. I have enjoyed my bike very much. I did 15 mins. of one of the programs on it last night. It would get better to pedal when it would start climbing hills. Dang! I am out of shape!x( I was really sweating! And yes girl I am watching the race. Kasey starts second, but I don't expect him to win. I think Ryan Newman will, and I can't stand him! By the way No sugar today! I hope!

Jane- Stretchmax is so relaxing. It is easy to every train,trust me I am a good example of it. I will never again! I also can't wait till I can do rotations with you ladies.

Terri- I can't play pool a lick! You should see me, it is funny! I almost knocked someone out with a ball that popped off the table. So I retired! I can't wait till I get back to PLB. It is so fun!

I lived in a weird neighborhood once before and one of my neighbor's were the Jone's. Let me tell you, they lived up that name. Everything was always perfect, at least appearance wise. I tend to think that other things were not as it was not normal to be that way. These people did not allow for 1 weed to grow in their yard. Everything looked postcard perfect. My other neighbors had their own social club and we were never invited...never wanted to be either. You had to be fake to mingle with them. Something I am not. We lived there for 5 years and that was enough for me. Now I am very happy where I live. Our neighbors are wonderful even if they think I am weird doing walking lunges up and down the yard several times. LOL! Who cares, right? Maybe I will motivate someone! ;-)

Are you still doing the rotation? I don't think I will make another rotation for next month because I don't like stepping and will mostly do running and weight training only. Not sure if anyone would want to follow this kind of rotation.

Anyhow, I didn't do ME yesterday. That TTOM so I was wiped out. Did Chest and Back this morning while I still have some energy left. Did 5 sets of 10 lat pulldowns off smith machine using 70#. 70# for rowing 30 times and dropped down to 50# last 2 sets of 10. Pec Flys used 10# (this is hard on smith machine even though 10# seems light...hubby only does 30#). So I did 2 sets of 10's as I am not as strong in my chest area anyhow, and I don't really care to be there too much. Did some more lat work with db's like Cathe does in Chest and Back...forget what it is called, at the moment (like lifting a heavy bucket up) Did 3 sets of 10's with 25# db's. Did my 500 crunches last night so glad I did as my tum tum is now feeling very gross at the moment. :7

Have a great day and workout ya'll. Time to eat again. Still at 116 and can't wait to get to 117!!!!

Yes I am still doing the rotation. I just got off it for a few days. I go through some depressing days with my foot. But I am doing the LG floor work you had down today. So I will probably change some things around in the week since I have been slack. Today I will start it over for another two weeks. That makes me mad when I get down and then I let my workouts suffer, but I want to try the rotation faithfully to see my results! And that won't happen if I don't do it! huh!

Boy, its been a quiet day around here... just finished StretchMax a little while ago. I did segment 2 with the stability ball. Tomorrow is IMAX2 and I can't wait. I LOVE that workout!! GS Legs are Tuesday and I am actually anxious to see if I've made enough gains to get through all the reps of all the sets of that w/o.

Wendy hasn't been on today. I hope everything is okay.
 
Well I am so bored so I decided to go ahead and work biceps too even though I did chest and back earlier. I did bicep curls with 60# 10x's!!! Then I had to drop back down to 55# and did another 20 times. Took some October working pictures while I was at it. Usually don't have on makeup when I workout so when I got it on, that is the best time for pictures. Gray day here so will take some of the Halloween decorations too. I think I will upload them all later today or tomorrow morning.

Looking forward to seeing your decoration pics Charlotte. I usually don't decorate other than putting out my Halloween flag.

I finally broke down and bought a pair of Ryka N-Gage shoes in black. These are replacing the Rhythm II's. I got them at holabirdsports.com after seeing somebody over on the Ask Cathe forum say they really loved them. They certainly were a reasonable price with reasonable shipping and a good return policy. I'll let y'all know how they are when I try them. I have been using a pair of New Balance that I think are walking shoes. I've never bought a specialty pair for aerobics. I do have a good pair of New Balance running shoes that I love. I really need something good for aerobics since I have rheumatoid arthritis, I really need some good support doing all those jumps.
 
Hey Guys.
Boring afternoons I guess huh? I had a nice time up my parents. Weren't there very long tho. I had a nice piece of vanilla cake to treat myself for 2lbs lost. I figured it in to my cals for today so no biggie.

I didn't have time to work out. So it'll be Imax2 first thing in the morning. Then probably a walk if it's not raining. I don't think it's going to get hot here again so I'm going to tackle the hateful job of changing our summer/winter clothes around! I hate it I hate it I hate it. But........I'm grateful to have clothes to have to put away and take out.

Ben Roethlisberger has a shoulder injury. I am bummed out. Pittsburgh is winning but only by a field goal. Dammit. I'm headed to another meeting. Any of you follow football? It is my favorite to watch.

Well I'm going to get ready to go. I'll be back later.

Glad you got some decent shoes for working out Jane. It does make a difference. Does your RA bother you a lot?? Do you think working out helps?

Hey Ladies.

I am finally making it online today...

Sorry to report that I never got CM in yesterday despite good intentions. My mom came down and we hung out longer than expected and by the time she left it was time to make dinner. My friends stayed until almost midnight and as dedicated as I am, even ***I*** was not going to do CM at midnight! :p We had a good time but my diet went to heck so I'm counting it as another big cal day. I didn't count but I'll bet I didn't really go over my (big) calorie limit...just ate bad ratios.:-(

Today I am eating better though and aiming for a 30% defecit. I did Power Hour this morning w/o the abs and then the first 20 mins of Step Works (no w/u) and the Cardio Hits ab segment. I burned up almost 600 cals. Good work out! I went heavier than I usually do on most of the weights in PH-OUCH! I think I may be complaining about good ol' DOMS tmrw! ;) I wanted to do CM but again, ofcourse, I just didn't have time this morning...Maybe after dinner tonight...who knows but I make no promises this time! :p

I have decided that oatmeal was not Joey's problem as he is doing fine now. It was just an isolated episode so all is good w/him.:+

Kali~~~I am good for the 8th too unless DH get the chance for O/T but I doubt it. So email me and we'll see if we can figure out where the heck to meet now! lol

Off to enter my food (so far) into fitday so that I can then figure out what is on the menu for dinner!:9

'bout time you all showed up! LOL! Hubby is watching football, not really my thing though I do get excited when the Steelers win because the rest do. We went out for pizza earlier today. I really don't care for Pizza Hut pizza so I stuck with more salad and had 3 small pieces of pizza pie (thin crust/plain). Had my protein shake about 1 hour ago so I don't know what I will keep eating for later. Just posted some pictures. Called them October pics since it is almost October anyhow.

Hey everybody... Wendy I had to count yesterday as my big calorie day even though today was suppose to be because of what I ate at Charlotte Shout. Like you, I didn't go over but my ratios were screwed up.

I'm glad Joey is tolerating his diet and it wasn't that.

Kali - sometimes it (RA) bothers me and sometimes it doesn't. As I get further and further into this new medicine I am taking, I hope my good days will outnumber my bad. I give myself an injection every two weeks on Tuesday and this Tuesday will be my fifth injection so I'm hoping to continue to see improvement. I figured good shoes were a must for aerobics and something I have put too way too long.


Charlotte I LOVE Pizza Hut pizza and I believe the last time I had it was in January. I love the supreme pan pizza so not the best!!! Fitday would go up in smoke if I plugged in what I used to eat in pizza years ago!! I'll check out your pics.
 
Hey ladies,

Jane I'm going to have to buy some good aerobic and running shoes also. It is important now that I have the proper shoes. I was also looking in the Ask Cathe forum about exercise shoes. Are the exercise shoes you just bought better than the Ryka II?


I have done 30 mins on the bike, and attempted to do LG floor legs, but company come in and ate supper with us. That happens alot. Family you know!:p So now my legs are feeling tired from the hill climb on the bike. Maybe my legs are telling me it is too much! Trust me I never used to listen to those signs. And I actually did thirty mins. on my bike!:) So tomorrow I will start the rotation I should be finished with right now if my moods didn't change so much!x( So it will be LG and coremax tomorrow.

Great pics!!! Charlotte, your arms are impressive. Mine are NOT that big. I must be doing something wrong when I measure. I sent Kali some pics of me and maybe I'll put up a picture trail at some point. I guess I just feel funny about it. I don't consider myself photogenic. I have, however, figured out the timer on my camera and I think I'm going to take some pics working out. I'd like to see if I look like I am in as much pain as I feel!!:7
