Moment of Truth Sept 12/05

Hey Ladies!

I am 35 knocking on 36's door. I feel like I just turned 30 and I'm pushing 36!!!! Where does the time go!??

Terri! That is true. Thanks for reminding me. I was REALLY worried about working out, getting the boys to school, and getting to work even if it was only 3 days a week. If I don't work out when I get up in the morning I am like a lunatic. At least I don't have to worry about that for a while! DH says he's going to get some OT next week so I don't have to even think about it till the holidays! YAY! :7:7

I'll tell you ladies a secret; shhhh. I really didn't want to go to work! Cush job or not! :eek: Shhhh. Don't tell DH tho. He thinks I'm really upset about it. I was actually at first, but NOT ANYMORE!!:7

~Jane, how was KickMax. L&G's and Coremax3 tomorrow. Oh my aching abs. I'll probably do some cardio too. How was your big calorie day?
I'm doing good. Hitting right around 1500.

~Kim! Did you work out yet?? LOL!

~Wendy where the hec are you? That's a good workout you did there today Girly.

~Lori are you working out tonight? Are your knees still sore? My ribs are!

~Charlotte did you do 1000 crunches so you can be sore along with us?

Hey ladies.

I still have about 400 cals to eat today which means I can have a snack in a bit. I rarely get to do that on low cal days! :9 I'll have to scope for the best thing I can find that will work with my ratios and my cals! I can eat it while DH and I play either chess or scrabble later. :)

Hi Kali! I was off cooking dinner. It's all done and cleaned up now. Phew! I am drinking my after dinner java. :7 I saw your post on the monthly fitness pics or whatever and if we all do it together I am willing...hesitant but willing! lol So where were YOU all day, young lady? HMMMM??? :) TY about the w/o. I forgot what Power Circuit was like...I got some extra leg weight work in there as a result and it's a mini-circuit w/o so I don't feel too bad about missing yesterday now AND I didn't leave out my abs either!:+

Terri, you sound like me...always got ants in the pants, huh? lol I find it hard to sit in front of the tv for long periods of time unless I am watching a specific movie. I only read in bed before I go to sleep. I can sit on my rump in front of the computer for HOURS though...I guess it's cause my hands are busy??? Who knows. lol
 
I was Cleaning all day! I have to every day now that I'm officially still a "stay at home Mom!" I know what you mean about the bills tho. That's so sweet you guys play a game together. We did too when the boys were babies now that I think about it.
I wasn't really serious about posting the pics. I just saw Charlotte's post to Terri about posting pics and came up with it.

I was just on fitday and thought I was closing in on 1500 but I have 500 to go so I'm off to have something else to eat! x( DAMMIT!

Hey everybody... talking about age are we? I think I have the ones who have told their age so far beat. I turned 44 in July. It's just a number. I am a very good 44!:+

Kali ~~ I got KickMax done and I really love that workout. Those ten blasts at the end are something else. My anemia must be getting better because I didn't have any problems with those blasts. I was sweating buckets!! I had to wring out my sports bra!! Still working on the big calorie day. I have finished supper but I had a little over a 100 calories to go so I am going to have a treat of hot cocoa in a while. 1 cup of soy milk and 1 T of cocoa with some splenda. On my big calorie day I get 2,082 calories!! On my deficit days my 20 to 30% range is between 1458 and 1666. Here lately I've gone more towards 1666, especially with this rotation. And I've have lost weight on this. I love it!!!


Wendy ~~ I'm like you about those pics. I'm not sure if I want to or not! I may try to post some doing biceps curls. We'll see.

Kim ~~ I hear you on being tempted with those sweets. I am working hard on staying away from them. I did on Saturday night at the pig pickin. Hopefully what I am doing now is working for me but I still haven't hit those days right before I start my period where the urge to shove carbs into my mouth at lightning speed is at its strongest. We'll see.:)

Charlotte ~~ I love to work the lats, the shoulders, tri's, and chest. Biceps are my least favorite upper body part to work. I guess because this is where I'm the weakest but I'm working on it!

Terri ~~ your dog sounds precious. I have a little rascal of my own named Jasper. He's an outside dog. I've had him since he was a baby, he was born here. I love KickMax and, according to my HRM I get a good cardio, especially with the blasts at the end. When I am doing the combos in the beginning, my heart rate stays in the 130's and I believe this is a good fat-burning level.

Sounds like everybody did well today.

Yes Kali, tomorrow is Legs and Glutes and CM#3. This will be my first time doing L&G in its entirety. I've only done portions of it on the TimeSaver.

Becky (bceogirl)and I were talking on another thread about how leg-heavy this week is. She's doing this rotation also.
 
It doesn't matter to me. If we all agree I'm in.

I forgot to post my lunch on fitday. I just had a yogurt and thought of it. Thank God I didn't have anything else because I'm right under 1500!
Whew. I knew I was doing better! I would've ended up at 2000! LOL!

Hey kali- I just finished doing the dreaded back and really had to push myself with that! I also was doing my foot stretches when I tried to be brave while I was lowering my heel off the steps, and decided to go on the ball of my foot. Major ouchie! I was not supposed to do that right now but I figured as long as it has been it may feel okay. The pain shot straight up the back of my heels and I knew instead of being brave I was a dummy! but it is just aching right now. I see the doctor tomorrow and I know he will not let me take off the bootcast. I don't see any improvement! A broke foot heals faster than this! Well I will not go on with my problems.


Wish me luck at the doctors anyway!


Hey I even drank water for supper instead of sweet tea! Everyone else was drinking that sugar. Don't think I wasn't eyeing it!

I just finished reading all the threads and I had missed a few. Kali - I know you are flying high fitting into those shorts!!! You should be so proud of yourself.

Hey jane,

Yes I have been battling those pesky little sweets! they have been hanging on me like ticks on a dog! You have got the willpower girl! I have got to get mine back. I used to have the willpower of steel! When you cross the other side and stay for a while then its hard to get back! You need to tell me what on earth you are doing?


Hey I do L&G tomorrow too! But I'm only doing the floorwork and maybe do it twice. And girl doing the entire LG will put on a burn! that workout doesn't play!

Kim.. it is a way for you to keep up with your calories and your macronutrient ratio, i.e. carbs, protein, fat. I follow a 50-30-20 ratio. It is pretty easy to do especially after you get the foods you usually eat saved.
