Good Morning Ladies.

Lori, here's my last post from last night since you probably did not see it:

"Great work out Lori! A run after KM!?! Kind of sadistic, don't ya think!?

Well, I continued to eat well...had tuna with l/f mayo on ww toast for dinner and then some l/f cottage cheese and apple sauce for a snack. Hopefully this is the start to re-newed motivation for BOTH my work outs AND my diet!!! Gotta go food shopping tomorrow...food shopping always help with the diet because there's always lots of good & healthy stuff to choose from then!

Gotta go grab my cup of DECAF coffee...I ran out of half and half AND MILK today! I am resorting to dry non-diary creamer in my coffee!!! I always have it on hand incase of emergency!!!

BTW-I got on the scale the other day and at that point no damage had been done weight wise ...who knows by now though ...AND I have not measured the old body fat! EEEEK!
Tuesday is my official weigh in and bf % day so I'll let ya know how much damage I did!"

Good Morning Ladies

Is everyone ready to start another week? This is my long week at work so I don't know about that one.I think I need a month off or something. There are so many things to do around here it is crazy but once I get my workout done and tidy up...I don't want to do anything else.Anyone else like that???

I had a good workout yesterday and hopefully another one today.I am (once again) thinking about going for a run outside but I am in one of those moods where I don't know what I want to do.Cardio and L&G are on the schedule...we will see.
What is everyone else up to? I think I am going to go to the mall this week and get the rest of jaynas presents.I am just going to stick them all on layaway. All she wants his a new gameboy and games. She is getting at the age where she doesn't play with dolls or toys anymore but she isn't really into clothes either. The only thing she likes right are games. If I put it off to long everything I want will be gone.
Anyhoo....
Lori

Hello Wendy!

I posted my other post over here...as you can see:) Just when I don't think we are posting at the same time...we are! Go figure.

I was happy with the run after to but I have to say it was effortless. It didn't feel like I did both.Maybe I didn't give my "all" when doing KM and thats why I felt like I needed more.I dunno!:)
Thats good, you haven't done any damage.Man..I can't get the freak'in scale to freak'in move! Some how this summer, I got down to 125, which is a nice weight for me.I look good in my clothes and all of my clothes fit.And then it flip flopped and I am up to 133-135 and I don't know how it happened. The only thing I can figure is that my metobolism slowed down b/c when I was at 128, which I have maintained for about 4 yrs, I ate whatever I wanted to a certain extent. Now, I have cleaned up my diet a fair bit and its still not moving. Its kind of discouraging but yet my measurements haven't changed.Sara hooked me up with the calories I need. But part of me wonders if I need to do my cardio like I use to do.
Is that me whining or did someone let a baby in the house?
Lori:)

"There are so many things to do around here it is crazy but once I get my workout done and tidy up...I don't want to do anything else.Anyone else like that???"...That is me 110% Lori!! When too much needs to get done I get frustrated and don't want to do ANY OF IT! That is part of what I was going through the past few days. I was feeling very overwhelmed so I basically did as little as possible!x( I am feeling better now so hopefully I am past that.:)

I am going to re-start the November rotation today but I probably won't start all over with week 1 again. I will start with week 2 I think and then do week 1 over again at the end SOOOO that means KM for me and NO LORI, I will not be running after that! I'm not crazy like you, sadistic girl!:p }( ;) :)

I have to do some Christmas shopping very soon but I have a list of people I don't know what to get!?!? I hate that! LOL Actually, I make DH come with me to do his family every year so I have to wait for him to do that part. I do my on my own. I got 4 out of 6 of my sister's kids done and I know exactly what we are getting Sal's niece and nephew so those things should be easy enough to just go pick up. It's his mom, dad, one sister (the other I know what to get) and my mom's BF that are haunting me...I'll figure it out eventually...always do cause I have no choice! LOL

Ok, done babbling for now! Off to get some java!:9

Wendy- I juse feel like there is always something to do.And I know most people feel like this but I put things off.We had some sort of leak in our tub last year and DH noticed the ceiling downstairs was starting to bubble a bit.For some reason he decided to cut a hole in the ceiling and sure enough, water came out of it.All from the tub.We thought we had it fixed but I don't think it is.Then we were getting ready to paint the walls leading to downstairs so my brother put plaster on the parts that needed it.Then we wanted to get that painted before christmas but wondered whats the use? We were having a couch delivered and the walls could get scrathed again. So BOTH things are still there! A YEAR LATER!I will not have people over again this year for a party if both of those things are still not fixed. So those are the kinds of things that need to be done around here.
Now who is babbling? Sometimes I wish I could do these things myself b/c I didn't marry a handy man...Ill tell ya that!
Lori:)

"Sometimes I wish I could do these things myself b/c I didn't marry a handy man...Ill tell ya that!"..............LMAO, did you marry my husband too!?!? Sal is kinda handy for certain things and not for others but a big part of Sal's problem is also LAZY!!! It makes me crazy when I want to get stuff done that I NEED his help with and he just doesn't wanna move on it!!!x( x( x(

Dave just always finds something else to do...usually with someone else! Who as a penis! He is always off helping his friends!
I didn't realize that he wasn't so handy when I asked him to paint something and he couldn't do it.In the end, I had to.
Last summer he helped my dad build my sisters house, and for some reason, he thought he was a carpenter. So off he goes to the hardware store, picking up flooring and jiprock (sp?)( I know that spelling isn't even close) He managed to do my daughters bedroom. Then he gets at the laundry room/workout room and as it 1/2 done.I think 3 m have passed and there is still jiprock in my family room leaning against the wall.Funny thing is, he as made numerous trips with his friend to help him with his cabin.Go figure!
That stuff WILL be out of my rec room TODAY!
Lori:)

I posted on the other Moment of Truth thread. Just wanted to add that my DH LOVES to do things around the house. Trouble is--he doesn't have a handyman bone in his body--LOL!! I try to make sure things get taken care of before he even knows there's a problem. I had to hide his caulk gun:eek:! I have to hire out for just about everything.

Michele

Michele, it is so funny that you mention cauking! My DH went around and recauked the kitchen because he thought it looked horrible after we finished painting. Now, it looks absolutely... there aren't words to describe how terrible it looks now! I would never say anything to him, but it looks really bad. I know that this may sound strange, but to me that just makes him even cuter! He feels like he did such a good job, it is really adorable. I am not going to burst his bubble. :D Men can be so cute, can't they? I will say that he is really good at other stuff, though. He does a great job repairing the walls and spackling stuff. He isn't a great painter but he is very neat and doesn't get out of the lines like I do. He can build just about anything and he fixes anything electrical. But don't ask him to clean! You will never again be able to find anything he touches!!!

Wendy, how are you feeling now? You probably have said, but I just need to go back and read all of today's posts.

Does anyone get depressed about now? I love the holidays, but I miss the sunshine and the leaves on the trees, I miss green! I hate being stuck indoors, too. I was thinking about getting a tanning package and using about ten or fifteen minutes a week so that I am not so depressed. Anyone else get S.A.D.?

Missy

Yes!!! I have a terrible time with seasonal depression;( . I really have to work to feel upbeat. I keep lamps on all day, read uplifting or humorous books, stay in touch with good friends, get together with friends for lunch, PRAY! I can empathize with anybody who gets the winter time blues.

My DH caulked my kithchen after we put up wallpaper and I cried afterwards. It looked like snakes and worms crawling out of the backsplash. It was during peak SAD--LOL! But yes, it really is kind of cute. My DH is a nerd and really doesn't have any handyman or athletic skills. He wanted to play basketball so bad in high school but he just didn't have the talent. The coach saw how much he wanted to be on the team so he appointed him team manager. I thought that was sweet. My DH is a genius though, and that's what attracted me to him. I've always preferred brains over brawn.

I'm off to the doctor. See you gals later.

That is so Dan! Dan is INCREDIBLY intellegent (he admits that I still have more common sense, though) and he is so good hearted, but he is this computer nerd who wears glasses and is balding with a pot belly! He is so endearing! He is a VERY big guy, though, and he did play football growing up (he was a lineman) but he can't run, throw a baseball, shoot a basket, or hurdle anything, though he does give it all his heart to try. It is the most adorable thing in the world! I think it would insult him if I ever said it, so I don't. I just smile! :7 He taught our middle son how to throw a football, and I am tickled pink because I think that Layne will have his father's athletic ability. :7 Mariah and Logan are much more athletic like I am. I think that Logan will be more like me in that department, though. He carries a ball with him everywhere he goes, he throws like he was born to and he has this incredibly strong core. He doesn't look a lick like me, but he is independent and stubborn and athletic just like me, and it is what is inside that really counts, right? :+

Missy

Hi gals,

How is everyones evening? Im at work now and am so lazy.I think it is going to be a quiet night:)
Im feeling sort of blah.DH and DD have the cold and I am hoping I am not getting it.I have no symptoms only the fact that I want to curl up into a ball and sleep the night away.
I went for a nice long run today.14 kms with my mp3 player:) I need to get some new songs on that thing.
I also went to the furniture store and bought myself a sofa table that goes with my coffee table set I have now.I also picked out a paint color for downstairs.Maybe...just maybe...I will have a new color for christmas:7
Oh and my FIL was at my house all afternoon fixing the little things.Atleast they are getting done.
Lori:)

Hi Lori--

Gosh, I hope you're not coming down with something:-( . Make sure you drink plenty of fluids (not booze;) ) and rest up.

What's your paint color?

Do you have a layered haircut or is it all pretty much the same length. I have naturally curly hair too, and I'm trying to decide what I want to do with it.

Michele

I was just getting ready to email you! What color do you have picked out for the LR? I love painting! It is so cheap and it looks so good!

I am trying to convert 14K in my head to miles... I still don't understand why Americans use the freaking inches, pounds, foot thing when the rest of the world us using the metric system. I guess that we just have to be different, or is it difficult? I still don't have 14K figured out yet... is it... just under nine miles?

I am in the curl up in a ball mood, too. All I want to do is cuddle up with a fuzzy blanket and watch Law and Order reruns, or maybe ER. Or read Nora Roberts. Yes, that sounds good! A Nora Roberts book! I haven't read anything mindless in such a long time! If only I wasn't too tired!

What songs do you have on your mp3 player now? I have a whole hard drive full of stuff if you want some ideas. I did spin classes for the longest, so I have some pumping songs!

Missy

Oh..Im not the only one around:) Im watching wife swap now, has silly as it is...its all thats on.

Michele- I will try to stay away from thr booze tonight!;) I have few layers in my hair. The last time I went to get my hair trimmed, there were alot of broken pieces everywhere,so she just fixed it up a bit.I thought the layers were going to make it alot shorter but it didn't.I think my hiar is changing some and not as curly as it use to be.i am thinking about changing the color again soon. The red is gone a little orangish;( Don't like that!

Missy-I think there are 1.7 kms in a mile..I think.10 kms in 6.2 miles.I did'nt even bother to figure it out.My treadmill is in miles..must have been made my americans...hahahaha:)
I have a couple of different colors picked out for downstairs.Along the mossy green color. Its hard to explain. Not a gross green, just a nutreal color. The carpet in the rec room will go with everything but we do have a brown leather couch that I need to match up.I should have looked at chairs today while I was at the furniture store.I could have tricked DH into buying me a new chair! hahaha
I have a little bit of everything on my mp3 player.Mostly up beat dance tunes. And the new stuff.I don't really listen to it, its just to get me going.I passed one lady 3 x today while running. The first time they smile, the second time they laugh and then the thrid time the are in awe that you are still out.
Lori:)

my favorites, and the whole class got into, were:

Fatboy Slim Right Here, Right Now
AC/DC Thunderstruck
Outkast Hey Ya
Jet Are you Gonna Be My Girl
C Aguilera Dirrty
Delerium Silence
Third Eye Blind Semi Charmed Life
White Stripes Seven Nation Army
Madonna Impressive Instant

among others. I just love to put mixes together! It is too much fun, and I love composing classes!

Our living room is a mossy, beigy color. It't hard to describe, but it is nuetral and looks great and it is cozy and calming. I love paint!

Well, I think that I am going to go to bed now, I am tired! I will see you tomorrow!
