Good Morning Girls:)

Gotta get here before Wendy and her whip does:p As long as its not the same whip she used on her DH last night, then Im o.k with it:) :)

I just had my breakfast and I am getting ready to take DD to school.Today is her b-day and she received her gift last night.My MIL thought we should get her her own computer, but DD is responsible for giving nanny all of her b-day money and of course we are chipping in to.Anyway,its a really nice computer.

I have been thinking about my bloated situation and maybe I have weight on, would that make sense? Just a couple of pounds that attatched itself to my stomach? I dunno but I feel the same way again today but I commeted myself to clean eating, starting today and that should clear it up.

My legs are very sore from yesterdays run so I am not sure what todays workout will be.

Anyway,gotta go.I uploaded some pics from Jaynas b-day supper last night.We are having her party on Sat

Your daughter has your eyes. :) Glad to see you let her have that yummy looking dessert instead of an apple on her B'day! :p

Drink lots of water and eat well...that bloat or weight gain will come off. :)

I thought my legs would be sore this morning but they aren't really. My U/B on the other hand is FIRED UP! }( Picking up and holding my son will be a challenge today!:eek:

Can't hang about...have an early morning planned...gotta hop in the shower....will do my work out later on:

GS legs floor work
GS triceps
Ab work
Rebounder work out

She probably would have been happier with an apple.She doesn't like sweets, thats one thing she doesn't get from her mother. She didn't eat much of it, she had a little pick and then she passed it around the table.

I will do exactly as you say! I will drink, drink,drink....all day:) I need to finish my housework as well but Im not sure when.It won't take me very long to do it now so I should just do it and get it over with.

Finish up that housework and then you'll have all day long to put in the longest, meanest work out you can muster! That will help get those nasty couple of pounds off!}(

OK! I made it! I did read the rest of the thread yesterday, so here goes:

Lori, I am sorry about your bloat, is this new? I usually get REALLY bloated for three days before I start, and then when I finally do everything is fine again. Could that be what is happening? And DD is sooooooooooooooooo cute! She looks so much like you! Does that scare you? Before you know it, she will have boys chasing her. ;( If only they could stay young forever! Mariah just sent a letter to this guy that she really likes at school. I guess all the girls like him, but he likes her. I was duped into giving her stamps for this letter and didn't find out what it was for until after the fact. I asked her why she wanted to have a boyfriend now, and why she thought it was important. She told me because she needs to know what kind of husband she will want, so she has to go with a lot of boys to help her decide what boy is best to marry. :+ How can you argue with that?

Wendy, that is awesome about your running! I think that my breathing pattern is just breath in through my nose at least four counts (but a smooth breath) and then blow out through my nose, same count and just as smoothly. I think. I am going to have to pay attention when I run today, but I know that I always breath in through my nose and out through my mouth. What does DH say to do? and I am training for the mini on Memorial Day weekend, and it is 13.something miles. I think I can do it! I do want to warn you about running; when you get started it is really important that you start out slowly so that you don't get injured by overuse or get a stress fracture. Your hip flexors and other tendons aren't use to all that pounding, and really aren't used to be used much at all, so try to start out going no more than 6 miles a week and then add a mile each week after that. Uh, did I just preach? Sorry!

Marcia, is that an SUV? I know so little about cars it is pathetic. x( How was class? Did you give them a good beating? }( }(

Susan, your shoes!!!! That was too funny! How did the meeting go? Did anyone say anything about your improper attire? :+ I wish that I could wear tennis shoes with everything - they are so comfy!

Sara, how was K? And we did get about 2 or 3 inches - a far cry from the 6 they predicted!!! But that is okay, it is enough for the kids to still have fun. I just don't get it - we have the most mild winter in my memory, almost no snow at all, and then on the first day OF SPRING we get the biggest snow of the season? God has a good sense of humor, huh? :p

Well, today is PH and a two mile run. My interval run yesterday was AWESOME! I ran 8.5 miles for 45 seconds. KEWL! I should be able to fly today. And it is so funny how 3 miles can seem sooooo easy after an 8 miler, isn't it, Lori? So easy. :)

Hi Girls!!

I am feeling kind of down today. I dunno, maybe it was that Wife Swap show with the fitness mom. She had muscles galore everywhere. I thought she had too much for her size, but just seeing all the muscle makes me wonder if I am doing something wrong?! No one would be able to tell by looking at me that I go heavy with my weights and so I am just wondering if I am really getting anywhere. Is it really because I am ectomorph/hardgainer that I still just look "slim"?? I see some of the dramatic changes some of these ladies here have gone thru and I still look the friggin' same, don't I? Don't lie!!! I'm not giving up. I am just feeling frustrated with myself. So anyhoo, I am going to be doing one set of BBM's w/weights, 500 crunches, Imax 2 and chest/back off smith machine.

Good Morning!!

This morning I did kick, punch, and crunch and added some pushups. I still suck at those. I am going to do some more later this afternoon. I don't have much time right now. Since I was gone the last 2 mornings, dirty clothes piled up and I have to clean the bathrooms tomorrow. Then tomorrow, I have to take my dog to get groomed and grocery shop while we wait. Then on Friday, Kylee has a 15 month checkup. So today I need to get caught up or I will be working all weekend. I hate doing housework on the weekends. I like to do stuff outside when dh is here.

If I have time I will talk later....if not, I am sorry!

Hi Girls,

I am trying out DD's new computer and it as an awesome keyboard!

Missy, Mariah is to funny! DD's is not to bad but she doesn't need much incouraging and thats why i want to keep her away from the other little girl that was spending alot of time here.She is really boy crazy and when she goes to her friends houses she calls her boyfriend.DD also told me that she has her own website that her mother doesn't know about.So I think she is even worse then i thought she was in the beginning.

Charlotte, why so blue? You aren't letting other people get you down are you? I know sometimes it can be hard but just think about how fit you are and how awesome you look.That should cheer you up!

Sara,have fun doing your laundry! I did a load today and thats it.I am out of detergent anyway so if i wanted to do more I couldn't1 How sad!

Still no workout done,I am cleaning the house a little and we will see what happens after that.

So your liking the new computer, eh? Isn't that what you all say up there..."eh"? LOL!

I just need to get in my sunroom and workout all day. I will feel better when the endorphines start flowing. I am just having an off day, but I do get envious of some of these women who pack on muscle and use lighter weights. Maybe I am just meant to be my size?

I use to have a hard time dealing with the size of my legs.I so wanted thin claves...long sexy legs...but i came to deal with the fact that I am a short A$$ and I have thick legs.Instead, I think about what my legs can do for me instead.And I don't think about it nearly as much.

My friend just called and asked if I wanted to join a 6 week fat burning class.WTH is that? i told her to get the info and we will do it.I know the instructor is into Yoga and heavy weight lifting so I don't know whats in store for me.As long as I don't have to give up coffee...no way, no how!

Are you going to have time for a class like that? I just finished 1 set of BBM's w/weights...knees are starting to act up with all the extra leg work I have been doing. I might have to stretch alittle more often or something. I also finished my 500 crunches. Now onto chest/back. I am saving Imax 2 for last! LOL!

Stand up and be PROUD of yourself, girl. You have worked VERY hard for your body and I know for a fact there are tons of women out there who look at you in that same way!!! They idolize how you look and your dedication to fitness and heavy weight work. (myself included) Pick yourself up and - yes - go get those endorphins going in your body. You are a wonderful person with a huge heart and killer dedication to yourself and your goals. Don't get down, you know that everyone is made up differently and we need to accept who we are.

I struggle ALL THE TIME with my weight (only going the other way ;-) ) so hang in there, we are here for you.

I have just felt alittle lost lately and not sure which direction to be going in to get to my goals. Missy - your DD sounds like quite the little smarty. She's already working on getting a good husband. Good for her!

Sara - hey! Good luck on that cleaning.

Wendy - I hope you enjoy your workouts today.

Charlotte - oh Charlotte. What are we gonna do with you? You look awesome and do you even know how many women wish they looked like that? If you want more muscle tone, maybe you could hire a trainer to help you get there. Maybe there's just something different about your body type that is not allowing the muscle to grow like you want it to. Are you eating protein after each weight workout? Are you giving your muscles at least 48 hours to rest and rebuild before you lift the same muscle again?

I may just eat too much protein so I know I am getting plenty of that. Fiber? I think I am resting upper body enough between workouts though. I think I need to push myself more with the weights. I should go heavier when I don't always...that could be it. As far as lower body....I am working on a plan for that. I am not satisfied until I get what I want even if that means running more, etc. Did I say that? Oh gosh! Your very kind though and you know I adore you. I'm o.k. now, but will be frustrated until I reach my goal. I am very hard on myself just in case you haven't already guessed! LOL!

Hey Missy! Sorry I'm just getting back to you now! Kinda late, I know! :p As far as breathing goes, my DH told me that deep breathes are no good during running. He said I needed to take shorter, shallower, quicker breathes. When I ran the 2 miles I was doing in one and out 3...I don't know why...it's just the pattern I came upon. I already figured I wouldn't run more than 2, maybe 3x per week to start and I'm not going to try to top my 2 miles right away so the 6 mile limit will work well for me. I will stick with it until I find it "easy" and then move on. Is it more important to work on my distance first or my speed? I'm thinking distance but I'm not sure. I am doing my best to make sure I stretch good after I run. So far so good!

You did more than me girl! I did GS Triceps...as if my U/B DOMS isn't bad enough just from GS Chest! Tomorrow I'll be a freakin' cripple!:eek: :p Then I did the stability ball section of PLB and the abs/core from high step challenge. I skipped cardio today...I wasn't feelin' the love. I have a spin class on tap for tomorrow morning though so that oughta make up for it!}(
