Good Morning Ladies:)

It seems that I am the only one up yet...now who are the sleepy heads?;)
I am in a better mood today then what I was yesterday.Boy, was I ever crabby! And I was like it most of the day.I got a nap yesterday afternoon though, so magically I was feeling happier:)
I got a new pair of sneaks last night but they killed the back of my foot.I started running at 9 ish and when I got to the 3rd mile, I felt like there was something in my sock.It felt like a tiny little rock.So I got off of the treadmill and changed my socks, got back on and it was even worse b/c these socks were thicker then the other pair so I could feel (whatever it was)even more.They are really nice shoes though.Asics 1100 runners and they are orange and white.I ended up doing 9 miles on the treadmill and I could have went longer if there wasn't something sticking in the back of my foot.Now I have a blister on my heal:-( Now I am wondering if I didn't have a blister on the back of my foot, before I started running, and I just didn't know it. Could be possible.So I don't know what I will do with the shoes.I think I am going to give them another try.Don't you just hate it when you feel something but you can't see it!? Drives me crazy!

Anyway...whats everyones plans for the day? I have to do weights, I haven't touched them since last week!:eek:

Edited to add...I also forgot that my tank top as rubbing my underarm and now I have a burn! And it hurts:-( Why does this crap happen? I was feeling great while running but my appareal was killing me.Im gonna start running naked!;)

Well this morning I have some cleaning today. Tax stuff to sort out, etc. Got to run DD up to friends house after school so she can get her guitar back. She sold it to this girl who only paid half for it. Never had the money to pay it off so we are collecting it today. Hope it is still like it was or I will not be happy. DS missed the bus today because DD was moving too slow. I take her to school first and then come back and get son. They go to different schools. I got stuck behind slow drivers and then buses so my morning started off with me alittle cranky...buses and slow drivers caused DS to miss the bus so I had to drive him to school.

I don't know what workouts I will be doing since TOM is here. The vampires would love me just about now. LOL!

Yuck! No vampires please:) Don't you just hate it when the kids move super slow? DD has a habit of moving at her own pace but only when we want to go somewhere, she just roams around the house.I swear she tries to tick us off. And then when she wants to go somewhere she is in a mad hurry and can't get there fast enough.Strange how it works that way.
Right now I am going to do GS UB...or maybe CTX UB? Not sure and abs.We will see what happens after that.

Well, anyway...GOOD MORNING! :)

I am kinda tired and woke up about 90 mins later than I wanted to!:( I had trouble sleeping last night so now my work out will have to wait until nap time today....it's the last day of my rotation today...Cardio, abs & lunges. I am starting the January 06 rotation on Monday with Terri and maybe even a few more will jump in. I hope I survive! Lori, what I can do in place of the runs besides hi/lo? Any ideas?

Tonight is dinner at MIL's...YUM~:9~but it's not good for my waistline!x(

I am kickin' bootie on Ebay this week! I am selling 10 items (11 if you count an item I am selling for someone else that I will get a cut of the profit from :) )and as of right now 6 are selling and the bids are at almost $40.00 already! I honestly stand to make $100.00 this time around if this keeps up! :) The last time (first time) I sold on there I came away with about $40.00 but I had purchased supplies that I had to deduct or it would have been even more!!! If not for that it would have been more!:+ I am wonderin' why I didn't do this SOONER!?

Okay, well off to corouse more threads and suck down my coffee!

I just finished chest and triceps and my arms are weak while writing this.I think I have lost strength b/c over christmas I started running more and doing weights less.But atleast I can get my butt into my jeans again!:)

Wendy- Im not sure what you can sub for running, only straight cardio.I don't think there is anything that compares to running. You don't like running, do you? And its hard to start if you don't enjoy it,plus if you don't have a treadmill its kinda hard to get out into the cold and run.

Hey Lori,

I would like to attempt running but with out a treadmill it's difficult. I can only do it when DH is around to watch Joey and in the winter it gets dark so darn early that I would have to basically run out the door as soon as DH gets home from work to fit it in. DH told me street running isn't the good way to start out anyway. He said I'm better off on a treadmill but ofcourse, I don't have one and really have no room for one either...not that I could afford to buy one! LOL Oh well, I'll just do some kind of cardio...there are only a few runs in this rotation and they are short. I'll live. :)

Seems like we have the opposite problem. I have been just sticking with lifting heavy and when I did KPC yesterday I was more winded then before. Can't let this be a new trend so I got to switch it up more, but ya know I don't do the stepping stuff. Hard to do when you feel like you ADD. LOL! I don't seem to bulk up too much anyhow with the heavy weights. Seems my muscles just get more definition, but I need more cardio too. I don't want my lungs burning too much.

Wow - you girls are busy this morning! So much going on already! It's actually noon here now. I forgot my healthy food that I bought on the way home last night (I usually get it on the weekends and have my little refrigerator in my office stocked on Monday). Luckily I had an AdvantEdge low carb shake in my refrigerator. I'm going to go to Arby's later and get the Martha's Vineyard salad. I LOVE those things!

I gained two pounds overnight. WTH???? I'm not too happy, as I should be losing, not gaining. I've stayed at the same place forever now and I'm working so hard and eating so well and I just don't get it. I keep lifting heavier (thanks Charlotte!) so DH says it's mucsle. Isn't he sweet? Anyway, it makes me really angry. x(

Yesterday I did 100 walking lunges with weights - pyramiding up. Then I did another 250 without weights. Needless to say, my cheeks are burnin' today! I have only ever done them with weights and never all those without weights like you Cathe people do. It was a good feeling though. I also did squats, leg extensions on Bowflex, abs on Bowflex, calves with dumbells and I think that's it. Oh - and deadlifts with the barbell. Today I did a Spinervals cardio workout. My legs were pretty spent after yesterday's workout, but I made it to the end. Whew! I think maybe I need to do more cardio to start dropping the pounds. Who knows? I do cardio 3 times a week for sure and then I add it in on my weight days depending on my workout - which is another 3 days. But I don't always do cardio on my weight days. Hmmm...

Wendy, I hope you have fun at your MIL's. I bet it will be yummy!

Charlotte, I'm sorry you had kid issues this morning. I think that would make me pretty grumpy, which wouldn't be good since I'm ALREADY grumpy about the weight thing! I only have 3 short weeks until I have to be on the beach baring it all (well, not ALL of it, but you know what I mean).

Lori - running on the treadmill naked? Hmmm...could be interesting I suppose. I wonder if your DH would like that? :)

Dh would NOT be interested in me running on a treadmill naked b/c bottomline...Im still sweaty!:) Hes not really into that and I don't know why:)
And I will have you know young lady and I do use weights when I do walking lunges:p so take that. When I did them last week, I did the 1st set of 100 with 15 lbs dumbbells, 2nd set with 12;s and 3rd set with 10's. But I bet it would burn without weights to.I like the deadlifts that cathe does in one of her newer workouts.She is standing on the step and you start the deadlift at your toes and only come up to your knees.That one burns!

Wendy- Yeah, DH id PROBABLY right:-( We won't give him full credit cause you know how men are:) But this is a bad time of year to start running and I wouldn't run out and by a treadmill either. You should wait until this spring and then get to it.I bet your body would react wonderfully b/c it would really mix things up for you. I will warn you now...your inner thighs are gonna hurt.Gotta love it!

Charlotte- I think we are mixed up a bit. I couldn't even do as many pushups on my toes as I normally do.And I struggled on some stuff but I ended up using the same weight but got hemroids to from all that straining:) :) :) LOL

I did finish my workout.I did KM after so I think my arms are going to be very sore tomorrow! Not looking forward to the pain but I will be disappointed if I don't feel it tomorrow.

Hemmoroids? Oh my! Everybody's got their problems! LOL! I found out that I cannot take too much of a rest inbetween my sets with walking lunges or my butt will not be as sore the next day so I just take enough of a rest to catch my breath and then continue on. Why don't you try to stick with the 15's all the way, Lori and do them in sets of 40 or 50 until you get to 500? You know, it might just pay off for you by falling out of the bed the next day! LOL! Seriously though, try it.

Gutentag...did I say that right? Lifting heavy is great, huh? If you keep going while getting heavier, you will be like..WTH, can I really lift that? Sometimes I go lighter because my mind will tell me, "no way" and then when I go lighter, I know I need to drop the baby weights and grab the daddy's! LOL! It gives me a rush when I see how much I am progressing.

Charlotte, I never thought of that! I may do some walking lunges tonight b/c I need to do abs.Uh..its gonna be hard though, I know it already. Then again, maybe I shouldn't do walking lunges tonight b/c my UB will be sore tomorrow, then i will really be hurting from head to toe!:eek:

Oh great - so do you all do walking lunges with weights - I mean the ones where you do 400 or 500? I have always done them with weights, but not that many of them. I do 12 reps with 12#, 10 reps with 15#, 8 reps with 20#, 6 reps with 25# and then 12 reps with 20#. Now I have been challenged and may do the remainder with 15# IF I can still walk. See what you all have done. Maybe I can get rid of that extra poundage yet!

Charlotte, I must be honest (unlike Lori) - I don't speak German. Lori told me she used a translator program from the Internet the other day to do her French and so I was being a smart @ss! :)

And yes, I do like the feeling of lifting heavier. It's so empowering or something.

I'm gonna hop on the bike tonight and try to burn more fat. Wish me luck. My legs are not too happy about it. Hehehe.

OKay, sorry I have been MIA lately, I have been cleaning and spending time with my sister. She had her boards yesterday and she was really nervous, so I was just trying to help her stay cool. Pobrecita. (I did NOT look that one up! ;) ) she is the most nervous person I have ever met and has no idea what the words "take it easy and just relax" means. We are exact opposites, I guess that is why we get along so well and why I love her so much!

I am guessing that everyone is already gone for the day (that is what I get for being so late!) so I will just tell ya what I have been doing the last three days workout wise. Saturday was rest, Sunday run, Mon 30 min step + Buns of Steel 3, and today I did PH upper body and CIA 2204 step section one.

Anyways, I love you all and I will hopefully have more time tomorrow! :* xoxoxoxo
