Good Morning!

I am up before 6 for some reason this morning. Woke up and couldn't fall back to sleep. Oh well, I guess I'll get my w/o in early then if I am smart about it!

Hey Terri-sorry I didn't respond last night...I probably logged off just before you posted. On a normal night I go to bed between 10-11pm so I'm not that bad about going to bed late. It's the same time I would go to sleep when I had to be up for work actually. So what work out are you doing today?

Charlotte-So how are you doing on you attempt to gain weight? My DH is in the same boat. He would love to gain weight as well.

Kali-Why haven't you gotten your ticker yet?

Lori-I think I read somewhere along the line that you have already lost a few pounds? That's great!

Jess-Hope all is well with you. Are you still doing the Aug 04 rotation? Sorry, when I fall behind with the posts I am bad about reading them so I don't have a clue right now.

Cleo-I don't think I've seen you post lately but I hope all is going well!

Nancy-Your step son's wedding is coming up fast, isn't it? Do you have your dress yet?

Today I'll be doing straight cardio and abs. Never got abs in last night, but like I said, with the cals I burned I'm hardly upset. My abs will not disappear for one missed day, right? :) I think I will do the lower body cardio blast premix off of SIL today. I will use my old step with a set of risers for it (for a better BURN!}( ). I don't have risers for my full size step yet. :( Though I must admit I rarely use them which is why I was in no rush when I got the bigger step...ETA: I almost forgot! I also have to do extra leg work today! I will pick something for that at the last minute then.:)

That was some calorie burn you had yesterday. I wouldn't have worried about abs either after that. I got in a good burn myself yesterday with BodyMax.

I am off today but, of course, I wake up at 5 a.m. wide awake. If it was a work day, the clock would go off at 5 and I'd want to stay in bed and sleep so bad. Will somebody please explain this to me?x(

Today is GS Legs. I hope to get it in early because I have a lot I want to accomplish today around the house. I have a list!! I also want to get my car washed.

Body Max is a burner for sure! I don't do that one in full though as I got frustrated with the step segment the first time I did it so I have skipped it every time since! One day I'll have to try it again...I'll never learn it if I don't keep tryin', right?

I know what you are saying about the phenomenon of getting up early when there is no work and wanting to sleep when you have to work. I think it has something to do with the alarm clock for me. I am a much happier person when I can wake up on my own as opposed to with an alarm clock! If the alarm had gone off for me this morning at the same time that I VOLUNTARILY got out of bed, I would have banged it and crawled back in bed! I garuntee it!!!

Wendy-Don't feel bad I didn't get my abs in yesteday either!

Jane- I would get GSlegs done before I would do housework. That is a tough leg workout!


I will be doing GS shoulders and PS shoulders with abhits. I did LG floor work twice and oh my gosh! I ask my self going in the second time "do I really want to do this?" Almost stopped and thought about you ladies so I kept truckin! Yes Jane and Kali, you are some brutal women, but at least you motivated me! Heck I didn't want to get my butt kicked! He!He!

I did L&G floor work 2x in a row...ONCE! }( :p


I need to eat something so that I can get moving on my work out by 7:30am at the latest. I want the lazy lil' one of out bed BEFORE 9am this morning if I can swing it. He went to sleep at 9:15 last night.:) I am running out of food...I have to go food shopping today. Finding breakfast right now could be a challenge...wish me luck! :-(

I am going to walk/run for an hour this morning, and then do PLB w/ light weights to sub for Leaner Legs for the rotation.

Marie how is your rotation coming? Do you feel better today? I hope so. I was a mess last week but I've adjusted. WELL! :7 My kids are coughing already. Just run me over now. x(

I haven't had a chance to make my ticker Wendy. But I will.

Glad you had a good time at the MIL's.

We have a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese tonight. I'll get to see my cousins and their kids. They have a salad bar there. Yum. :p I ate first thing this morning so I already have over 500 calories in. I'm still under 1500, but it's close.

Good Morning Girls,

I am feeling better then I did yesterday, stupid cold! I had a pretty good nights sleep but the dogs were up a few times and then they were cleaning themselves...etc...and of course, DH did hear a sound.
I am working night shifts tonight and tomorrow nightx( I just need a break.Because I switched jobs, I don't get any holidays this year, but that doesn't mean that I wasn't working!And every weekend that I am off someone as something for me to do.
Im not sure what todays workout will be.Its a toss up between legs and chest& triceps.Im not sure what carsio I am going to be doing either.

Wendy-Yep, I lost a couple of pounds.By her scale I am down 5, by mine its 3. I think I will go by my scale b/c it seems more realistic.Also mine is digital so I don't know if the batteries may be going.I would like to buy a really nice scale but then there are days I want to throw the one I have...OUT!:7 }(

Congrats on the weight loss...3 pounds, 5 pounds, even 1 pound is progress! :)

I too want a better scale. I'd actually like a digital one because my scale can be hard to read if my weight is not on the 0's or 5's (ie-125 or 120). Either that or I need a scale with MUCH bigger lines in it! I'm gonna go blind trying to read the one that I have!!! x( My mom's digital counts tenths of a pound. Does yours? That's cool too because then I could REALLY see the nitty gritty of my results!

I didn't notice but Im very proud of you! You are getting much better with the days...:7 :) Now remember...tomorrow is the 8th, o.k.:)
My scale goes by .5 lbs.When I started last week I was 133.5 lbs, then stupid like I got on the scale the first day after I started and I was 134 lbs.After a day of good eating I was like WTH?!x( But I kept on truck'in. When I weighed on my friends scale I was 133 as well and on Mon, I was 126-127 BUT I had just gotten off of the treadmill from a hour long run so I knew I was dehydrated.On my own scale I am 129.5.So thats a 3 lbs in one week.I think thats pretty darn good.Plus, it was TTOM when I weighed the week before.Im far from starving but I do get hungry waiting for my next meal or snack.When I get around 125 lbs..thats when I will start seeing a difference in my clothes.Prehaps in a couple of weeks.
We have a wedding in Oct and my friend asked me what I was wearing and I told her it all depends on how much I lose.By the middle of Oct I could possibly have reached my goal of 120 lbs.We will see...

I am going to up my calories ten fold! Watch out, here I come!!!! Seems like I am eating enough, but I need to monitor more closely to eat more higher calorie foods and stick with a 50/30/20 ratio. I need to eat more carbs then I have been. I will stick with my 7 meals a day as usual, but I will be eating more brown rice, sweet potatoes and wheat pasta.

Well DH came home last night in a crappy mood. Somehow having too many bills this month happens to be my fault..WTH? He is usually very pleasant, but yesterday he was not.

Kali... I just re-read the description of LL and saw it has a 9 minute ab section. I have AB Hits and the LL abs are on here so I'll be doing those too. Just thought I'd let you know so you could add on an ab workout with your PLB w/o.
 
Hi Ladies.

Just finished my w/o. Later than I would have liked...in fact, I had to cut it short b/c it was running too late.

I did the LIS lower body cardio blast premix and w/o having a clue what it consisted of I added in 30 extra squats and lunges after the intensity blasts...this is part of the reason I ran out of time! LOL Oh well, I know better for next time that I don't need to do this. If you input weights where she uses the stability ball you get plenty of leg work in there! Hrm says I burned over 600 cals in about 50 mins! I was sweatin'! That's for certain! I threw in 100 crunches at the end...AGAIN my abs will suffer...Oh well...you can't see ripped abs thru fat anyway so better I get my cardio in then my crunches at this point, right? ;) :)

Well quickie shower for me and then off to get lazy boy otta bed!:+

Wendy, you are SOOOO inspiring! Lori, I'm so sorry about your cold. Glad you're feeling a bit better, Marie. Shopping does it for me too.

My gym was closed over the weekend (x( x( ) and I had to do shoppingmax all weekend anyway, but yesterday I finally started up again. I'm very out of shape and need to go slowly so I don't repeat the awful DOMS incident that put me out of commission for several days.

Yesterday I did the first half of PUB. Today CoreMax is on the agenda, which I use to substitute for the second half of PUB. I am trying to do the pyramids in a 4-day rotation so I can have a little muscle tone for that stepmother of the bride dress.

Wendy, I haven't done the new workouts yet (they don't fall into my rotation until later in the month). What do you think of them? How does the step compare to say, SB or SJP? Thanks!!

Charlotte, how many calories a day do you eat??? You are so tiny!!

Speaking of eating, my workmates are having a lovely send-off for me today which consists of PASTRIES and we are having Chinese for lunch! They are very sweet so I am eating a little. You don't have to twist my arm too much, lol. :)

I just finished the interval/circuit workout from the extreme dvd and I also did GS Chest and Triceps and of course my ab work.i have been doing ab work religiously lately.I was being very lazy in that area, no wonder my middle was starting to suffer, no ab work and lots of sugar!

Well, Joey is dressed and fed...now I am trying to decide between food shopping and takin' the little bugger for a walk...it's GORGEOUS outside!!!! I will do both today regardless I think, but I can't decide which order to do them in...Decisions decisions! LOL :+

Maybe later I can squeeze in another 100+ crunches....

Well I ought to be eating some of that chinese food you are talking about, but instead of white rice, I should use brown. I was currently eating about 1800-2000 cals a day. Now I need to step it up. I will always have a small frame, not much I can do about that, but I need to supersize myself just abit so I don't look so friggin' TINY! I am doing the best I can do. I can't imagine curling with 60 pounds yet, but the thought of doing so brings me sheer delight! Hubby curls with about that much and not for long. I know if I build myself up enough, it could be possible.
BTW, glad your feeling better today.

I use to go to Chucky Cheese when I lived near civilization. LOL! That pizza there is soooo good. Don't eat too much of it though. Save me a piece! LOL! I am cleaning today and will be doing my workouts around noon.

Well today it will be an hour on the treadmill and SJP per the rotation I am doing. I may throw is some extra weight work during SJP.

Wendy-I wish I could go to bed before midnight but most nights I just can't.

Kali-You are doing so well counting those calories etc.

Nancy-I hope your workouts go well and don't over do again :)
