Kali ~~ definitely don't beat yourself up over the pizza and cake. It was a birthday party!!! This rotation ought to take some of the guilt away. We are working!! I'm a little worried about Saturday. I have a wedding to go so Saturday evening and it is an informal event complete with a "pig-pickin" afterwards. Lots of BBQ and probably sweets. There will be a lot of dancing though so maybe I'll be alright.

Lori ~~ hope you can get some rest in today after your night swift. I woke up at 2:50 and finally got up at 4. I feel like I'm working the night shift and the day shift!!

Kim - good job on the workout. Don't worry about not getting in the PS w/o too, GS is really tough. Glad you felt better after your w/o. I always do no matter how tired I am.

Well, I just finished All Step. Since I was up, I decided to get that part out of the way. This afternoon will be GS chest and CM1.

Good Morning Everyone,

But its good night for me!:) I had one plane last night and of course it was at 2 in the morning, smack dab in the middle of my shift.At 12, I couldn't even keep my eyes open:eek: So I had a quick nap that got me through.Then I went back to sleep around 3:30.And the phone hasn't stopped here since the sun came up.People are talking about more then I can comprend right now.I am not that smart when I am first woken up.
I am hoping to sleep until 12 ish, get my daugthers lunch, get my MORNING coffee and then I have all afternoon to myself and all afternoon to workout...if I wish.Today is going to be a long cardio.Running I think.And I am also going to do PLB.This workout is one of my favorite leg workouts.I guess b/c I know I only have so many reps...and there isn't any low ends:) I am also not hungry so I am going to try and eat my breakfast when I wake up at 12.
I will check back when I wake up:)

Good Morning Friends,

Yesterday I had one of the best workouts I have had in a long time. I broke thru a plateau and conquered the heavier weights! Got to talk to my workout buddy too on the phone! What a treat!!! She says I sound like a yankee. Oh, my! Today is my rest day and I think I will just be washing some curtains and cleaning the cars.

That great Charlotte!! I know you are excited to have broken that plateau, that is always the best feeling!!

LOL... where is your workout buddy from? You are from Virginia, right? I wouldn't think you would have a northern accent. I, however, am from North Carolina and boy am I a southern girl especially in speech. I have been told I have a more pronounced southern draw than you would expect in NC.

Jane, I feel bad for those with insomnia type problems. My best friend tends to be a HORRIBLE sleeper but where you wake up waaay to early and can't fall back to sleep...she can't fall asleep at night and tosses and turns until 4 in the morning. :-(

Lori, If you don't mind my asking...what exactly do you do? What is your job description at the airport? If it's something you don't want to divulge, I'll understand but when you talk about napping at work it drives me crazy (JEALOUS cuz I could never do that!:p ) and I want to know! lol My BIL is an airline mechanic and he basically goes into work and watches movies, bs's with his coworkers, eats and SLEEPS in a break room until he is called to fix a plane. He works lots of double shifts but doesn't ACTUALLY work thru most of it! He just needs to be "available" incase a plane needs fixing. NICE JOB! And he gets paid a VERY nice salary for this! GRRRR! LOL

I am not from Virginia originally. I am from Maryland, just outside of DC. Lived in PA for 5 years in the north west area, north of Pittsburgh. Lived in Delaware for 2 years. All my "kin" is from Maryland where I grew up. Guess that makes me a damn yankee though I swear my hubby has declared he has the "blue blood" in the family. Not sure why as he is from Maryland too. Claims the hospital where he was born was further south...still in Maryland, so go figure!

Oh okay... I have never lived anywhere else. I was born in Charlotte but moved to near where I live now when I was in the 3rd grade. I've been in this county since I was 8 years old.
 
Hi Guys! Congratulations Charlotte!

My upper body DOMS are mild, just the way I wanted them. Yay! I did CoreMax yesterday and it went fine. Waiting for the ab DOMS to begin, but I think they will be tolerable. My abs are surprising strong.

Today is the dreaded PLB. That's the one I put myself out of commission on last time. Maybe I'll start with just 2 of the exercises today and see how I feel tomorrow before going forward. This is a good day for keeping it to a minimum. I have to be in court today and I have new clients coming in, so I'll be nervous all day and may not have much energy tonight. Anxiety always makes me tired. But I definitely intend to at least start PLB tonight.

I have another dress fitting on Saturday! x( x( I am so tired of these dress fittings. They seem to be causing my old eating disorders to rise to the surface, even at my age! :eek: :eek: I've actually started to count calories and pay too much attention to my eating, then I pig out at night out of rebellion. I feel like a frigging teenager. x( x( Only 17 more days till the wedding. Frankly, I can't wait till it's over!

I am going to a wedding too, but I am not going to be IN the wedding. Just a guest...takes off the pressure abit! I got to get a dress for it in a few weeks. I am going to get my nails done and hair too.

Nancy-I know what you mean about stress and old eating disorders popping up. I either go into starvation mode or pig out mode when I am under stress. Hang in there.
Jane-How nice to have your cardio done! Not so nice that you can't sleep. I hope that gets better for you.
Wendy-You asked me about tivo. Well you can set it to record anyshows that you like and for one day or for a season. You can also pause live tv when watching and you get a phone call or something. It holds up to 40 hours of recorded shows. Or maybe it's 80. I forget! Some tivos have even bigger recording capacity.

and all three coremax's I plan to add some cardio in somewhere today as well

~Terri, NO I DID NOT EAT A WHOLE PIZZA!!!! Just 2 slices! I'm going to walk/run after I clean my sons' living room if I ever get off this computer.

Hi Girls,
I won't say good morning, to me it is but to everyone else they have gotten 1/2 of their day over with.I had a real good sleep.DH took the dogs when he left the house today so I was home alone:eek: And I didn't move until my 9 yr old came home for lunch!It may have only been 3 1/2 hours but it was a deep sleep and I can't even tell you if I had a dream or not.

Charolette-Great job on breaking that plateau.I bet we would all be amazed to watch those teeny,tiny,skinny,scrawny arms pump alot of iron!....Im just JOKING:) :+ :7 :+ :p }( I know that slim people hate being called skinny and scrawny so I thought it would be nice to see how fast you can get mad:) Your to far away to kick me a$$!

Wendy-I work at whats called an FBO.It is a refueling stop for private jets.They mainly go from the States to Europe or back again.I have seen a couple of famous people but for the most part it is just people travelling on business.Whoever was on the plane last night didn't get off.I have only been there since Jan and my boss hasn't really assigned me to anything in particular so on day shifts I have to make myself look busy.But on my night shifts (which are 13.5 hours long) I just have to make sure the place is nice and clean and if I don't have any flights, I will sit down and watch t.v and dose off for a little while.It is never good sleep b/c I wake every hour.This is also may be why you will hear me complain about my co-worker off and on b/c when I work, i have to spend 1/2 of a day with him and he can drive me NUTS!

Nancy-You and I have the same workout today! I on the other hand enjoy PLB.I also enjoy PUB but a friend got a loan of it and I think it will be time to get it back!

Kali and Terri- Yep, I am very motivated to do legs today.They probably need the most work. Although I am concentrating on getting rid of the little bit of belly fat I have going on.I also have stretch marks so I am sure that I will never have a prefectly flat belly.
I also have a wedding.Not standing either but I am going to try and plan this to be my next "outing".This summer as been so crazy that I just want to relzx on my weekends off.
Anyway...that was a long one.I even took my daughter to school in the middle of that.I am now going to tiny up the house a little and get ready to workout.

Hey Kali... tomorrow is that 40 minute run and I guess I'll have to get up earlier in the morning and run in the dark!!! It is suppose to be 88 here tomorrow and I can't run in that. I won't get off work until 3. I am going to the high school my DD teaches at for their football game so won't be home until late. So it'll be runnin' in the dark for me in the morning. ;)

I will get the CM#2 in after work though.
 
Wow! I thought he'd NEVER go to sleep! My poor little guy was tired already come 11am cause he barely napped but then he started getting hungry so he wouldn't sleep. It was a struggle to keep him happy until just after 12 when it was time for him to eat...THEN I made the decision to try him on a little rice cereal for the very first time. It's a little early but he's got one heck of an appetite and I am reasonably sure he will suffer no ill affects from it..so anyway~~~What a fiasco! LOL I couldn't decide between spoon feeding the cereal (as my mom suggested trying) and bottle feeding it so I did a little of both. The spoon was okay but he was way too impatient to wait for me to get the spoon to his mouth LOL. The bottle ended up being fine but in the beginning he was sucking and it seemed as though he was getting nothing out of it and yet he was not complaining at all??? Well, in the end he finished it through the bottle and after a few good burps and a little figiting he was fast asleep in his bouncy seat....AHHHHHH...sweet dreams and thank goodness! He was soooo cranky! Poor kid. :-( I hope he takes a LONG nap so that he'll be in good spirits for the rest of the night AND so that I can get my work out in! ;)

Hey Jane...I can't run for 40min. Shhhhhh.Don't tell Charlotte. She'll kick my butt. LOL.
I don't know what should do. Imax2? Bootcamp? I can't do Bootcamp. I have guitar lessons and I'm not allowed to do BC when I have a lesson because I'm too wound up to play.
Maybe power walk for an hour? ?What do you think?
