Moment of truth/Fall check-in Sept 10,2005

Hi ladies,

HD made too much noise going to work today so I cannot go to sleep. so I got on here to see how you girls are doing. None of you are still asleep are you? I don't blame you if you were!

Yesterday my exercise plan was messed up by dh race on tv so I did some tri's while watching the race and couldn't do coremax so I did some crunches on the floor. Today will be S&H chest and all of coremax. There should be no excuse today!

Kim - good work on improvising since you couldn't do a DVD.

Kali - don't forget your coremax #2 today!!:+ Good job on that run/walk. You'll be running the full time in no time at all. That is how I built it up. I was running 5 1/2 miles straight at my peak but I done hardly any running this summer due to the heat(and I'm not getting up at 4:45 and running in the dark unless I absolutely have to!!:+ ) and my endurance has suffered. I can go about 3.75 miles but I hope to continue building back up since the weather is better. I wish I had a treadmill.

Also, you are going to have to tell me more about this guitar playing you are doing. How long have you been taking lessons, what kind of music do you like to play? etc...

I'll be out and about today running errands, etc., then a wedding this afternoon so not sure if I can check in any more today. Y'all have a great Saturday.
 
Good morning Kim and Jane!

It is beautiful here in NE PA. I had to throw on a sweatshirt when I got up. It's supposed to get hot next week but not unGodly thank goodness. I've had enough.

I'm going to try to do all of Coremax today to make up for yesterday and that will cover tomorrow since tomorrow is a rest day. I'll tell you tho, I haven't done Coremax in weeks, and I can really feel it after just doing seg. 1 the other day. My sides are sore! :D I'm either going to LowMax and a walk/run, or Imax 2 since I dont' have Imax.

Have a great time at the wedding Jane. And I don't blame you for not wanting to run in the dark. I'll tell you all about my guitar escapade Monday. :)

Kim~ NO EXCUSES Girly! Everyone is working out today!!! I don't think DOING all of Coremax will be too bad, I think TOMORROW is gonna be BAD. REAL BAD. }( :p

Tomorrow is my weigh and measure day. I did really well this week so here's hoping I'm back to losing and not gaining. I lost the 2 lbs. I gained last week from TTOM but I still have like 30 lbs. to lose by New Year's. And let's face it Ladies, that will be here before we know it.

Well I'm going to eat and get working here. Working out, some laundry max and clean max.

It's my rest day today:)...technically I COULD w/o...I only worked out 5 days last week due to my extra lazy rest day but I think the bod really needs the break. I've been workin' my a$$ off for the last month!:)

Hey kali, do you know what I can substitute for pikes on the ball? I can't get on my toes. I can't do planks on my toes so I will do them on my knees. I will start coremax in about another hour. I know I won't be able to move tomorrow! I probably will hurt just breathing!


I've got to go do some cleanmax now myself.

Good Morning Girls,

Yeah,I slept in:) We didn't go to bed until 1:30.We watched a movie and just hung out.I only just got up at 9:30.When I get off of night shifts the next sleep is always an awesome one.:)

After all those step ups yesterday my bum is sore! I can't beleive all the working out that I did.I must have been off my rocker!Todays workout will be alot shorter though.It will just be cardio but it will be along run.We are getting together with some friends for supper so that should be nice.
I just found out that today is weigh in day.I don't feel like I have lost anything b/c I haven't put my all into it this week.Don't get me wrong...I did REALLY good compared to how I use to eat BUT I wasn't as good as I was last week.My clothes feel different and my belly is getting flatter.:) I really don't want to go by what the scale says b/c I feel alot better about myself.:7 And weigh in day means that I get to have a treat today but I haven't deprived myself all week so if I am craving something I will have it...if not...Im gonna just eat what I would normally eat.

Jane-My endurance never suffered when I use to stop running in the winter time.I think all of those Imax workouts really helped keep my endurance up.

Hey Lori... after thinking about it, I don't believe it is due to not running. I do a lot of cardio but I've been battling this anemia lately and I can tell it even in my Cathe w/o, it is subtle but I can tell.

I thought that was a GREAT idea you mentioned yesterday about becoming certified as a PT when Joey gets a little older. You would be perfect for it! I really admire your dedication to your work-outs, and you have such a great personality. I'm sure you'll be very successful! Excellent thinking!

Good Morning!

I had a really hard time getting out of bed this morning - perfect sleeping weather here in NH :) When I did get up I realized we were out of coffee x( So, I had go out to get a cup - it's just not a good day without coffee!

DH is golfing today so I'm off to do some grocery shopping and will do S&H Bi's and Tri's and maybe a run. It's only suppose to be 70 degrees here today, yahooo! I love fall, not looking forward to winter though...

Sounds like everyone has fun stuff planned for today - Enjoy!

Morning Ladies,

Today says rest on my rotation but I don't feel like rest yet. So I will either do a run and abs or I will do imax1 and abs.

Lora-I could not believe the workout you did yesteda! Did you do it all at one? That would be like 3 hours straight wouldn't it?

Kim-For alternatives to pikes and planks just do any other ab excersise you feel comfy doing. That would be my suggestion.

Nancy-You have taken shopping to a whole new level :)

Wendy-The new pics of Joey are so adorable!

Kali-So your going to report back after you do all 3 coremax's right? :)

Jane-I didn't know you were anemic. DO you take neds for it?

Hey Shannon,

It was hard for me to get out of bed yesterday morning also. It probably is the cooler weather. I think it makes us sleep better. I am doing S&H today also. but I will be doing chest.

Finished my w/o. IMAX1 !!!! Love that workout. The choreo is so simple in that one, really frees up the mind to go for the intensity!!!

Terri - my anemia is a manifestation of my rheumatoid arthritis which suppress the bone marrow. I'm only on folic acid right now and that is used as a liver protection since one of my RA meds is liver toxic. My doc didn't suggest iron just yet since I am on a new med that hopefully will allow me to regain tight control of my RA, alleviating the bone marrow suppression and allowing my hemoglobin to rise. I have a repeat CBC to check my hemoglobin at the end of this month. I have been really enriching my diet with low-fat iron-rich foods and I am feeling better. Thanks for asking.

It took me more than 30 years to figure it out but I finally know what I want to be when I grow up! ;) It's just not feasable at this point in my life. Right now I am researching possibly becoming an MT like Jane. Wish me luck! :)
 
Terri- Yeah I did it all at once.It was pretty long but I never time myself anymore.It wasn't to bad b/c when I was on the threadmill half of the time, the phone would ring so my 5 min would fly by b/c I would be talking.

I just finished Kickmax.And it was my first time doing it.I did want to run b/c DH has something to go to tonight and I will be home alone.SO I figure that I may get a run in then:) I enjoyed it.I probably won't do it again tomorrow b/c you know how I dislike kickboxing but it wasn't that bad after all.
I weighed in and I stayed the same, which is fine for me.It was only 4 days ago that we weighed but we thought Sat would be a good day to weigh in b/c most people have a tendency to do something on a Sat night.Still not bad 5 lbs in less then two weeks.I can't complain.
Anyway,I am off to the grocery store.I think I am going to make chocolate covered strawberries for the BBQ.:9

Hey Wendy.. I meant tomorrow is my big calorie day.... and my rest day... I hope that doesn't impact on my weigh-in and measuring Monday morning. I didn't think about that. From the w/o's this week, it shouldn't!!!
