Good job last night Kali. Between 8:30 and 9 I was focusing very hard on you!! I had to turn out the lights at 9!! I knew you would do well!!

Wendy - Joey is so precious. I wish I could reach through my computer screen and just pinch his little fat cheeks!!! And yes, Lee is definitely hot. I'm sorry to stay my eyes locked on Lee instead of Joey when that picture popped up:p Terri - I am happily married (but not dead), so you have priority!!

Charlotte - great job decorating! You know I re-read that ME post and if I had been trying to rhyme, it wouldn't have!! I didn't even notice how that sounded:+

Happy Birthday Kim!!!! I hope you day is very very special.

Yes, Kali, we were right there with you last night. I'm so glad it went well. It HAD to, with everyone sending you positive vibes and saying prayers for you!!!

Okay, okay Terri, you have "dibs" on the cousin! Jeeeeeeesh, you have to make a big deal out of me being married!!:p But in fairness, you did say something first.;-)

Wendy, I bet you crash today! Hopefully you can rest and take care of yourself and your cold now and start feeling better. Joey is a beautiful boy and is growing up so quickly!!

Jane and Kali, Today is the start of week #3 ! Hooray for us!
But yes, Jane, I'm shuddering a little at the week starting out with Imax 3 !!!!:eek: This is a tough workout for me , and I haven't mastered all of the combos yet, so it is frustrating to me as well.
I need to do it more often and learn it. I love Imax 2 , so I was thinking about subbing it, but no, I need to learn #3, so #3 it is!
I'll be thinking of you both while I am trying to get through it without needing to call for oxygen!!:p

I'll have to check , but I think this week has NO (???) upper body work in the rotation at all !!? Not sure, will have to look again, but are you adding any??
 
Good Morning Everyone.

Everything went beautfully yesterday! It was a wonderful day and my Joey handled the looooooong active day like a champ! He was sooooo good! He's my little angel! :+ As can be expected he was crying before bed because he was sooooo exhausted and overtired but even that didn't last long!

Terri~Yes, you can have "dibs" on Lee before our married friends...it's only fair, right? But that means that you have to share with my unmarried friend! Either that or fight her to the death to see who gets him! :p }(

Jane/Becky~I'm defiantely gonna take it easy today...no exercise & I'm going to try to eat right even though that can be a challenge when I'm sick but I will try hard to be good about what I put in my pie hole today. :p

Jane~I tend to think that one would HAVE to be DEAD NOT to notice my cousin! ;) Don't you agree?

So I'm thinkin' I need to re-calculate my calorie intake based on no exercise to see where I should be at until I feel good enough to resume activity. I DON'T want to take a step backwards in my progress while I'm sick, you know. I accept the fact that my BF percentage may go up a bit but I don't want to gain weight. There's no reason for it in my book! :)

Excuse my laziness here but I am just gonna take the easy way out say a general hello to everyone else w/o even mentioning all of the names. I'm sick so I can get away with it! :p

Becky, SJP is the only one I see that has some upper body work on it. Yes, time permitting, I am going to add. I was looking at it snd I may do the PLB/PUB bonus combo on Friday instead of just PLB that I am subbing for PS: legs and abs. That will hit the upper body twice this week along with SJP.

I will talk to all of you later today. I have got to put my shoulder to the wheel so to speak. I am typing operative notes today and they can be very tedious and involved thus lower my line count, so I'm afraid I am going to have to concentrate on working today. I'll pop in when I get up to get something to drink etc..... I am on operative notes all week!!x(

Okay...I calculated my cals for weight maintenence based on a sedentary lifestyle and it's easily doable. It's about 100 cals more than my usual 30% deficit # when exercising so I can do this! :)

Take it easy today and you'll be back to yourself in no time. I didn't imagine them in their underwear, but I DID think of that yesterday! :7

Jane/Becky I did Imax2 because I don't have 3. It was not easy, being Monday (blech)morning and all but I got thru it. I am definately adding upper body this week. I think I'm going to add some freestyle leg work too. Just 3 or 4 sets of a few exercises.

Stay focused on your work Jane. We'll be here when your done!

Good luck with Imax 3 Becky. I ordered RS and I think Imax 1 is on it. I'm looking forward to doing another one besides 2.

WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO! I got through Imax3 !!!
I still don't have the choreography down to the last 3 combos and I modified some of the impact.....like the blast where you jump the length of your step, then jack and tuck, and richochet.....ackkkkkkk! I did as many as I could and then modify, modify, modify!! Same thing for all the plyo's , air jacks and tucks that come later!:eek:
But I am sweating and feel accomplished like Cathe says we should!:p
I might even add a little upper body because I have the time today.

Jane, sorry you have a tedious week ahead, and just think when you finish your work today, you have IMAX3 to look forward to! ackkk}(

Kali, way to go! I really enjoy Imax 2 and it's a tough workout!
You'll love RS and yes the original Imax is on that dvd and so is the super tough & long MIC!

Wendy-the pics are great and you didn't look sick at all.

Terri - I'm a trusts and estates attorney. I draft Wills and do family wealth planning. I also adminster estates after people die, and that's when I have to put on my psychotherapist hat. I see more dysfunctional families than most therapists!

Yesterday I did about 35 mins. on the treadmill and did the standing work on PLB. I'm still taking it slowly, trying not to put myself out of commission with DOMS. I use very little weight for PLB right now. The exercises themselves are enough to exhaust my legs. Nonetheless, I weighed 2 lbs. more yesterday and I think it's mostly muscle!!

I might have to take a rest day today because every muscle group is still aching!

I am in protein smoothie heaven right now!!! I made my baked apple smoothie and it tastes like the apple pie ice cream you get at specialty ice cream shops. I baked my apples yesterday. I took one cup of cubed baked apples, frozen since yesterday, 1 cup skim milk, and 1 scoop of van protein powder.... I added just a dash more cinnamon and two ice cubes because the flavor was a little strong and.... y'all have to try this!!!

Back to the salt mines... as promised I am not having a good day with work.
 
HI everyone,
I am just getting up out of bed and I only slept for 2 hours so I am a little moody!x( The first two times I started to fall asleep the phone rang, so I finally got up and tunred it off.And I don't know what the kid was doing next door but he was screaming and it sounded like he was throwing things.
I am drinking my coffee now and hoping to get enough energy to go for a run.You would not beleive how sore my arms are! That workout yesterday was a killer!

Oh and WENDY.....your cousin is HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! Im married to, plus miles away so I know it would never work..boo hoo;-) :) SO Terri can have him!

Kali great job last night. I too was thinking of you. I noticed you said dh drinks is that hard to be around when you are in recovery. I ask because my brother quit drinking 10+ years ago and his wife didn't. He had a hard time with that and they eventually split with my brother getting custody of the kids. Not that I predict a divorce for you! Just curious as to how you handle it.

Wendy-Well you too made it through a big day and being sick on top of it. You looked so good no one could guess by the pictures you were sick! I have decided to conceed and let your friend have the cousin since I live so far away :) BUT...if he is ever in Denver LOOK OUT:)

Jane-I hope your work day goes by fast.

Nancy-I bet you get some families fighting over estates huh? I think that would be so hard. I would yell GROW UP your loved one is gone and money won't bring them back!

Lori-so you di all of ctx upper body? I bet you are sore. Ctx chest gave me doms and I rarely get doms there. I think it was because of the count or something. Also I don't think David Gale was a true story but I see how it could be based on one.

Becky-Imax 3 is to me the toughest of the three imax's WAY TO GO!

Kim-HAve a great birthday. How was dinner last night? Are we doing coremax 3 together today? I will wait for your post and do it then.

Charlotte-Don't feel bad about missing your workout yesterday. I did cardio but could only do MIS once. Well i probably could have done it twice but I had a twinge in my back and didn;t want to risk an injury!

I have Joey upstairs in his crib. He was getting cranky so I brought him up there to see if he'll nap...I will go check on him in a few minutes to see if I am successful or not. :+

DH's mom and sister are coming to visit today which is nice since I have a cold...the less I have to handle Joey the better... (unfortunately for me, ofcourse!)

All I really want to do is take a nap but alas, I can not...that is the only downer of them coming...Oh well.

Nancy, thank you so much for thinking of me! I use very light weight for PLB too. Any leg workouts actually. I try to keep it as freestylish as possible. My legs are already "big" and it was suggested I try it and it is definatley helping. I do a few sets of lunges without weights and baby I am feeling it! Then I figure once I don't feel it anymore, then I can start adding more weight and that should keep me lean and not bulk up. One can only hope anyhow.
Oh I can only imagine some of the stuff you must see and hear with your job! :eek:

Becky, awesome job with Imax3. I just got back from a power walk and now I'm going to do Freestyle upper and lower body.

Terri, glad you listened to your body w/ that twinge and didn't take a chance hurting yourself. Then where would you be? Bumming. x(
DH is a great guy. He doesn't drink in excess. But we are definately not on the same wave length anymore. It's a common thing when one person gets sober and the other doesn't. You start to look at life differently and find you just don't share the same things and ideas you did or even thought you did anymore. Sometimes you wonder if you EVER did or if it was just the alcohol. Then it gets tough. But..... you do what you have to do. Acceptance is the key!

Lori, hope your in a little better mood. I'm sure a run will help immensely. I had some things weighing on my mind before I walked but I'm feeling better now. Working out always puts me in a better mood! :)

Hi Gals,

Kali- you were right, I am in a much better mood right now.BUt even before on starting running I was crabbyy!x( I rented a couple of movies last night to watch while I was at work and I couldn't,for the life of me, get the t.v to play the dvd.So I just put it in the DVD player in the workout room but the t.v only goel so loud and I couldn't hear the movie.Then I had to get off and drag the treadmill out into the rec room and watch the movie out here.Then I couldn't find a place to plug it in! Anyway....it all worked out in the end, I got 1/2 through the movie and I did 6 miles.

Wendy-Its to bad you can't have a nap.You will have to go to bed early tonight.

I am gonna go get into the shower b/c we have an apt at the bank at 3 so I gotta get mov'in but I will check back later,

Hey everybody... what a day!!! Just 25 more minutes and I'm done. I am going to get on IMAX3 as soon as I get off so I can get it over with!! It does have a dread factor for me too Becky. Kali - IMAX2 is a good substitute and much more fun but since I have IMAX3, I am going to stick to the rotation. Especially after Becky has already done it!!

I get such a good feeling when I think about doing IMAX1 and IMAX2 but the only thing I can think when I have to do IMAX3 is OMG!!
 
Jane-good luck wih imax3! That workout is TOUGH! I am still trying to learn it all. And oh my all that jumpimg kills me knees! Ok I am not helping the situation am I :) Sorry!

That's what I love most about checking in with eachother like this.....we motivate eachother. I did IMAX3 because I knew I wouldn't be alone and now you're doing it for the same reason! Awesome!:)

I never did get to the weight work.....too many unexpected changes to my day to fit it in.

I am eating good though. So far! :)
 
Terri - that's okay... I already know only too well what in store for me!! I've done IMAX3 quite a few times.

Becky - you got that right!!! Knowing you're doing it too makes it a little better.... and also knowing I'd be in big trouble if I subbed something else after you've already done it!!:+
