Good morning ladies!

How is everyone this morning? I am OK. I'm having my coffee and getting ready to do SJP! :) I really like this workout. I like all the step/cardio workouts.

So I'm going to start housecleaning I think. Start ripping one room apart at a time while I still have the time.
Then I'm going to a noon meeting and having lunch w/ my sponsor. So that will be nice.

DH and I are ok. We're just being civil to one another right now.

Have fun with the workout Jane and Becky! It's so cool doing this rotation together! Any ideas for next month yet?

What is everyone else doing today?

Wendy I hope you're feeling better. You sound like you're getting there.
You too Kimmy. How's the sinus pressure this morning? x( How many more races are there this year?

Yesterday was yet another terrible eating day for me. I only did coremax and didn't do my lower body. Oh well today is another day! It will also be a hectic one at that. Work, PT and dd jazz class. Wow! I'm tired just thinking about it!


Kali- Glad to hear everything is going okay with you.And I think there are 9 more races to go. It should get interesting!}(


Terri- Computer down yesterday, sorry didn't get up with you yesterday, but I did coremax around 5:30. Didn't didn't complete it!

Good Morning Ya'll!

Kali,

That is how I clean on some days. Other days, I will just clean all the floors first and then take one room at a time, minus floors. Yesterday I cleaned windows as I cleaned each room. I have bedroom windows to clean today and bathrooms to clean as well. Then off to paint my ceiling in the livingroom. Can't wait.

DOMS is starting to creep into my legs. Not bad so far, but I feel like it is not completely here yet. LOL! So much to look forward to today!!!! I will be doing sort of a fiesta workout today.

I have decided on the black strapless dress for a wedding I am going to on Saturday. Now I need to get a shawl. I have ME scheduled (just once):eek: for Saturday as well. I'll have to get up early if I am going to get that one in. Maybe my dad will join me as he will be here this weekend with my mom. They will bring plenty of bad food with them AGAIN!

Still at 116 (gained that pound) so I will have to get going with running next month to make sure I am not gaining the fat along with it. Maintaining our bodies is a never ending process and you all keep me well inspired.

Good morning Kim, Kali, & Charlotte! Can I jump in on this, too? You guys are doing so great, even if you feel like some days are kinda not what you planned. You all really motivate me!

Well, I'm happy to report that I can almost do a full pull up. I know that sounds kinda lame but for me it's huge, considering I came from barely being able to do anything but dangle. Whoo!!

Yesterday was a fabulous workout - a hard hill interval spinning class (ended up being about 40 min w/ warmup and cool down) then I came home to do BC :eek: Okay, I don't normally do all that but I was juiced up for some reason. Aiden does really well for an hour or so in the gym babysitting, too, so I am getting there more to mix it up with my Cathe stuff.

So my jean shorts are seriously falling off of me. I haven't really lost weight but I know I have lost at least several inches in my waist and hips. I wish I would've taken beginning measurements but I didn't even think about it. I can also see great muscle development & defintion all over.

Okay, I am SO long winded this morning. Hi to everyone that follows and Wendy I hope you feel better!

Good morning fitness buddies....

Kali - its good to hear you are doing okay. Take it one day at a time as I'm sure you already know. It is a lot of fun and motivating to do rotations together. Next month? What we could do is browse the rotations over on that forum and make some notes, think about what we'd like to work - I for one would like some more upper body in next month to compensate for this month. Then we would wait and see what Cathe has in store for us in October. I'm game for about anything except I don't think I want to do that August Bootcamp rotation!}( Who's knows, I may work up to that one of these days but it looks very time consuming. Anyone else that would like to join us on a rotation, jump in there!!!

Charlotte - I have to clean house today too after I get back from my dr's appt. Way to go on keeping your weight steady with your killer workouts! I know you want to gain and hope you'll continue to gain lean muscle mass. I don't think you can miss with those workouts of yours!!;)

Kim - sorry you are having computer problems. Buck up, today is another day. I remember you said you worked around food all day and I know that must be hard, it would be for me. Hang in there girl!!

To everyone else, Becky, Lori, Nancy, Shannon, Jessica, Terri, Wendy, oh I hope I didn't forget anyone, have a wonderful day. I'll talk to all of you later.

ETA - Debbie we must have been posting at the same time. Of course, you can join us!!! Way to go on adding on that lean muscle mass. I can see a big difference in my legs since I began the Sept rotation. Welcome!!!:)

Kali- You were right.I wasn't here yesterday.I was home but when I was there, I was busy.I did check the forum but for some reason I never bothered to write:eek: Im glad you and DH have talked about what as been bothering you.Thats half the battle right there!.

Charlotte- 116 lbs! I would love to be that and I am a few inches shorted then you.Oh well, if everyone had the same shape it would be an awfully boring world.:)

Yesterdays workout: I did a 30 min run, not knowing what I was doing that day and when I finished I pulled out my book and realized that it was 400 walking lunges,8 sets of 8 push up,4 sets tricep dips,400 jacks,500 crunches! My A$$ is soooooooooo sore today.That was tough.I did all of the push ups on my toes:) and the jacks weren't that bad.
I am at work all day so I won't get to do ME until later.I plan on running before doing ME actually.Im gonna have some tight buns on me!They may be so nice that I may have to start showing people, regardless of what DH says!}(

OH....DH bought me an awesome pair of runners on E-bay.They were 60 american but they are the brand new nike shoks that are out.They should be here on Fri! I am so excited:7
 
Good Morning on HUMP DAY!:D

I feel SO accomplished!!! I just finshed SJ&P! I hadn't realized but it was the first time I've done that one start to finish! I LOVE the step portion of that, so I've done that often. Am not a big fan of hi/lo , so I rarely do that, but I really had fun with it today!
I did all the planks and used the same weight amounts as Cathe! WOO HOOO!!:p
Guess what my reward is?? Jane's famous fall Baked Apple smoothie! I can't wait !

And I'm with you Jane, I'm all for another rotation but don't think I'm ready for the killer bootcamp one just yet!

Debbie- Yay! another New Yorker! Welcome!! Congrats on the pull-up!

Kim - I had a bad eating day yesterday too. I couldn't stop eating ice cream and then I started eating crackers and pulled out a jar of peanut butter! I haven't had that in years, so I don't know what came over me.

Becky- Way to go!!

Last night was night 4 of the whitening trays from hell. It's really stressing me out to keep that stuff in my mouth for a whole hour. I'm starting to have a little heartburn and I'm afraid that I may have swallowed some of the whitening gel. Only 3 more days and I'll finally be done.

The wedding is only 4 days away!!!

Last night I did the floor work from PLB, but my hamstrings really weren't ready for it. I still had some DOMS. Tonight is Coremax.

I don't feel too well today. I stayed up WAY too late last night watching Will & Grace repeats. Thank goodness I don't have any client appointments. I would LOVE to leave early and get some cardio in today. That would make me feel better. We'll see what happens. I am SOOO envious of you SAHMs today.

Wow...sounds like everyone is doing good!:) I wish I were home working out.
I work with a guy, that loves to hang around.He is an older guy and he is the only one out of all the feulers that HAS to talk all the time.I feel bad b/c he is a nice guy but I love my space and I can only handle so much of him.I just don't have that much to say, sorry!:eek: And I feel TTOM comming on and I REALLY need my space when I get like this! Then there are days when he is not as annoying as others but there are some days when he can be an a$$ and today it wouldn't take much.He likes to tease and torment.

Thats just me grubbling.If I tell him I am having PMS he is more likely to stay around even longer b/c he likes to be annoying....go figure!

~Nancy, 3 more days. You can do it woman! And just imagine how bright your smile will be for all those pics!!! And the grass is always greener on the other side, but it still has to be mowed! LOL! I wish I had a job like yours. Being a SAHM is ok to do for the kids' sake but as far as any kind of self satisfaction or purpose, I lack that severely.

~Hi Kim. I ate a piece of leftover BD cake yesterday for no reason at all. I was emotional and just shoved it in my mouth. I was going in the cupboard for cookies too but I stopped myself. I felt terrible about the cake so I power walked for an hour last night again.

~Jane let us know how you made out at the Dr.'s.

Hi Ladies!

WOW! I slept in a bit this morning because Joey is not here and boy did I wake up to a bunch of posts! You girls are very chatty this morning! LOL I had to play catch up and read everything before I could post. ;) I so often leave myself out of the conversations in the evenings because I miss sooo much and I am too lazy to read it all...I wasn't going to let it happen first thing in the morning!!!

I woke up this morning with a little "itch" in my nose...I got out of bed and I guess I had a PMS moment because I took out the left over mozzerella salad from the party on Sunday and while my coffee was brewing I stood there with a fork and ate 5 or 6 pieces of it! x( Nice breakfast, huh? LOL (mind you, I have been very good about NOT touching the left overs until now!!!) So anyway...really wierd...as soon as I was done that "itch" in my nose went WILD and I sneezed like 6 times in a row and my nose was burning and running and eyes were itchin' like crazy! That was about 15 minutes ago and now all of the sudden I'm fine again...go figure! Was that my punishment for eating the mozzerella salad? :p }( ;)

If I feel good it's full body weights, cardio and abs for me today. I SHOULD take advantage and do it before I go to pick up Joey but we'll see what happens...

Kali: It's sad when a marriage breaks up but if you and DH can manage to remain civil through it all then that is wonderful! You will be doing yourselves and ESPECIALLY your boys a big favor. It breaks my heart to see parents in an UGLY divorce who have kids...divorce is hard enough (on the kids) when you AREN'T being mean and nasty to one another. Have fun cleaning...or not! lol My cold seems to be waning...thank goodness!

Kim: DH loves Nascar racing also! He doesn't watch it faithfully but racing and hockey are his too fave sports.

Charlotte: You amaze me with your drive and your energy! You are CONSTANTLY on the go with cleaning, painting, gardening, mowing...forget the exercise girlfriend! You get enough just doing what you do in a normal day!!!

Debbie: WELCOME! So nice to have you here! Good job on the pull up! I have not attempted one since high school! :p

Lori: WTG on your fiesta w/o! I have to try that one day. Your DH should get lots of brownie points for the sneaker purchase, huh? :*

Jane: So what's on the menu for breakfast this morning?

Nancy: I LOVE Will and Grace. Great show! When I was working a regular job I always wanted to be a SAHM and now that I am one, I get envious of those who have regular jobs at times. I guess each situation has both good and bad in it, huh?

Kim-I did get coremax all 3 done so don't worry that your computer was down. We did it and that is good. No, I don't take breaks when doing it. If you do don't feel bad as that is a long workout. Someday you will be able to inish and no breaks! :) You gave it your best attempt and thats all that matters so Be HAPPY :) I hope your eating is better today.

Debbie- So nice to see you here!!! I am happy for you that you are reaching your goals. Sometime try aiming me again. I am always signed on but not always in front of the computer. I know some people sighn off aim when they go out but my machines run 24/7!

Charlotte-You are so organized with your cleaning. I own a cleaning biz and would hire you in a second! Starting pay is 15 an hour if you ever want to come to colorado:)

Nancy-Yeah I wish I were married again some times and was a SAHW :) I am hope most of the time runnong my business but it is stressful. I wouldn't trad it for a corporate job though. Been there done that! Oh and when I say married I don't mean to my ex! :)

I figured something out anyway and it was really good. I made a MONSTER SALAD! Really big (well....I was hungry!) and full of good stuff. I put romaine and spinach on a plate (platter?) and then mixed up chicken breast , marinated, but drained artichoke hearts, tomatoes from the garden and slivered almonds.....just enough for crunch and tossed it all in with the lettuce. No dressing. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ~!
And I feel much better! I really was hungry! :p

Well I am not going to the wedding now. DH has to work. I am mad and frustrated. I haven't worn that dress yet, been in my closet for a few years now. Pathetic! Oh, I just don't want to talk about it anymore!

LOL! I am getting ready to paint now. Just ate my steak. Threw out the fish...it just didn't taste right. Either that is just the way fish just taste to me or it was bad. LOL! I am washing all the comforters/blankets on the beds. How often do you wash yours? Mine are wearing out so much because I wash them often. I do my sheets every week. DD won't know that I will have her comforter outside to dry. She hates this. She is afraid she will see a bug on it. LOL!

Hi Charlotte,

I would wash my comforter lots more than I do if it would fit in my washer!!! I either have to take it to my mom's or to a laundrymat. We have a stackable washer/dryer so my queensize blanket doesn't fit! x( I actually should just go buy a new comforter...this one has been threw the grinder and LOOKS like it!!!

I LOVE the smell of line-dried clothes, etc! My mom line dries whenever she can! I am lazy about it so I just chuck everything in the dryer! lol

Well, I just finished doing coremax # 3 for the first time. I hadn't done it yet because I have yet to buy a medicine ball...I decided to try it today and subbed in a 5 pound DB where possible. Now I want a medicine ball! WAAAHHH! :-( Another idea for Christmas I guess! :) Everyone is gonna friggen hate me cause my Christmas list is gonna be ALL work out related stuff! :p }( :+

Okay..I have wasted enough time...I gotta go now to p/u the little guy!

I'll BBL and hopefully I'll get to do the rest of my w/o when I get back at some point. I feel pretty decent so I'd like to give it a shot! }(
