HI Chickie Pooh's:)

I am up bright and early to get my workout in before work and I have to say...this isn't easy! I don't know how Susan does this all the time.:eek: Its hard crawling out of a warm bed to torture yourself! LOL!!!
I am hoping to do BC now and a 6 mile run tonight or something tonight, doesn't have to be a run.I only work 2 day shifts this week and then I am off for my long weekend.I don't work again until Mon night...YIPEE!!!

Anyway, I am on my second cup of coffee and its not really working yet.My fingers are typing fast but my brain and legs don't seem to be functioning the best!

Mornin' Lori and all:

I'm up early here, too, but am feeling some lower back pain so I'm going to hold off on my morning workout. I have to teach step class tonight so I don't want to strain my back any worse so I have trouble at class.

Weigh-in last night.........................lost 1.6 pounds, I'm so very happy with that. I had a BAD day on Saturday so I figured it wouldn't be very good, but I worked out hard since then to burn it off and I guess it worked. :)

My DS wants to lose weight and he's only 9. He's by no means overweight, but I think there is so much talk out there on childhood obesity that he thinks he is. So, I told him we could eat better at home and that's what I'm trying to do so it will help knowing he wants to eat healthy, too. Now, we just need to get DH on board and we're ready to go. I'm packing him some good lunches so I hope that works out well for him at school.

Otherwise, not much here - I have a ton of yard work to do now that the snow has melted, but I'm never home to get it done x( Go figure.

Hi Marcia...what a bunch of sleepy heads around here!:) Im glad to hear that you lost some weight.Very motivating, isn't it!? Keep up the hard work and you will see some progress in no time!

I did my workout as planned and PH abs as well.I am just settling into work but everything is comming at me the one time.Funny, I still managed to get on here and post!;)

Good Morning Ladies!!!!

No workout for me today....I have my k field this morning. So, instead of working out, I decided to chill with a cup of coffee and watch my american idol sing on tivo while I talk to you all for a bit. (My idol is Chris). I got chills when he sang that song. His wife sure is lucky!! She is going to be beating the chicks off of their doorstep.....If I wasn't married and had children, I would be on his doorstep.....:)

Lori, working out in the morning is something you have to get used to. It was really hard for me at first. Yesterday morning, I drank just a tad bit of coffee before my workout and it helped tremendously! The first time I got up at 5 to workout, I was dragging. It gets easier though. Then, if you get used to it and do a workout in the afternoon or evening, you will have tons of energy. I can kick a$$ at my kickboxing class. That starts at 7. Here lately, my students have been almost dying. (remember last week).

I have been stressed out lately. It is almost TTOM so that doesn't help. It just seems like everytime I do something, someone comes along and messes it up. Last weekend, I got up early (not common on Sat) to mop, vaccuum, do laundry, clean window sills, work outside, etc. Then, I had to do some shopping in the afternoon. Worked my butt off, right. On Sunday, my very clean floors were dirty again. Dh and fil think it is okay to wear their shoes in here....even if they are muddy. I was about ready to rip their heads off. Doing this k field takes a lot of my time. I am almost half way done, but until then, I don't have time to be a slave.

Sorry for the rampaging vent (it really sounds a lot worse if you were talking to me in person), but I am sick of being disrespected sometimes. I have been trying really hard to help dh reduce stress while he is at home, but sometimes I need the same treatment. A week from tomorrow, I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I think I will take a 2 day vacation on the couch!

Gotta get ready for school. I will be back later this afternoon.

Hey Girls!!!

Well I woke up this morning and didn't know what day it was so I had a terrific night's sleep! My body feels like it wants to do something today which surprises me since it is TTOM for me. Ole' belly is just feeling yucky, but the rest of me is ready!!!!! Today I am just going to see how long I can run for since I am feeling like this. I still have Imax 2 to do too.

Good job on the weight loss. Continue to eat healthy and you will see more pounds come off.

I want to plant some azaela bushes today, but I may be doing it in the rain. I don't care about rain. I am not going to melt and I say "bring it on" if I am going to be running!

That is so good that your teaching your son good eating habits. He will remember. It is just good for the entire family. Everyone benefits from this.

Yes, Chris is a hottie, no doubt!!!! He does not seem to be into himself like Ace is though. Ace knows he is hot.

When it comes to cleaning, it really seems like a waste of my time too. I mean, right after I clean my dog Stinky will just drool all over the floor immediately after I clean it. I see spots here and there. I think my floors stay clean for 5 mins.

About your wisdom teeth....I had my taken out years ago. My face swelled more then I thought it would, but the swelling goes down quickly. My hubby bought me every kind of milkshake there was. One day I had chocolate, next day was strawberry and then vanilla. This was when I was 19 (we married young)and I was probably only 100 pounds and my metabolism was still running strong. You might want to take advantage of drinking the protein shakes instead during this time.

I think that's great that your son wants to eat healthy. It's ashame that he thinks he's overweight when he's not though. Poor thing.

I know how you feel about the muddy shoes...between a dog and a construction worker DH I am constantly after the floors in the house or they would look like who-dunnit-and-ran! Actually, even w/the attention I pay to them, they STILL often look like that! x( I used to sweep and use a mop and bucket on them but I recently purchased a Bissel Flip It. LOVE IT! I can vacuum and wash the floors all with the same gadget and it's soooo much easier! :+

I have lots of weight work on tap for today...no cardio. It's GS shoulders, bi's and tri's, walking lunges and abs today. My chest is still sore from Monday's work out. GS u/b really does a # on me!}(
 
Wendy!!! Yes,I am feeling o.k and I am rubbing off on others...how awesome is that? Everyone should be like me;) :7 :7 :7 My run isn't until tonight though so I should be ready for it by then!I think I will need to have a nap though.I have been awake since 5:15.:-(

Sara, Ugh..I hear you on the house cleaning.I think thats why I gave up! When DH cleans he has a heart attack if he sees a bread crumb on the counter but when I clean it goes on noticed.He also hates doing the dishes and lately after every supper time, he as to use to washroom! Come off of it? Everyday???:eek: :eek: !!!

There was something else I had to say.Im gonna have to post this and edit it.I think I had something else to tell Charlotte.

About once a yr! Im not so lucky!x( :) He is one of those people who has to move everything in order to clean.He can't just "spot" clean or tidy up.He pulls out furniture and rearranges things.Thats probably why he doesn't clean very often.

Oy! LOL I try to clean a little every day so that no one spot gets super gross! LOL
I am bad about moving furniture to clean though...I will move table/countertop stuff but not furniture, etc. often unless it's lightweight and on wheels!;)
 
So what is this? Merry Maids today? Okay, my issue is with my hardwood floors. How on earth do you clean those things? They streak no matter WHAT I do. I've tried water/vinegar, soap and water, hardwood floor cleaner, tea and who knows what else. They are never shiny. Then we bought a buffer off of ebay and it didn't come with instrcutions and I have no clue how to use it - it just spins on the surface. So it sits in my closet. It's a Hoover. HELP ME! :)

I don't know if you caught my post yesterday, but I did a Lori too. I did Spinervals Uphill Grind in the morning and then Imax 2 when I got home from work. And the Spinervals workout is no light workout! I don't know what the deal was, but I just really felt like doing Imax 2.

This morning (before work Lori!) I did walking lunges, squats, plie squats, deadlifts, leg extensions, leg curls, abs w/weight on Bowflex, bicep curls, overhead triceps extentions and 3 sets of 15 pushups on my toes. I really only intended to do lower body, but I WANT GUNS, and I also want the fat to leave my tris, so I just threw in some upper body for good measure. I did 3 sets of 12 or 15, depending on the weight and how much more I could do.

Marcia - WAY TO GO on the weight loss! I'm glad you're showing your son healthy eating. A gal I work with gives her daughter suger CONSTANTLY and I'm so worried she'll end up diabetic or something. It's so sad. I've talked to her about it and she says she knows, but she doesn't change.

I guess I better get back to work. Charlotte - I hope your tummy feels better soon. Enjoy your rain!

I have hardwood floors too. I also have the laminated floors that look like hardwood. Anyhow, for both I use the wet swifters. They have a nice smell and what I do is use the dry swifter first then the wet and then I take an old towel and put back on my swifter and go over top the semi wet floor with it really hard so it doesn't streak or have spots afterwards or until Stinky comes around and drools! LOL!

Well looks like the rain/snow..whatever that was earlier is gone now. The sky is partly sunny and temps very cool today...in the low 50's so as long as the wind settles some, it will be a perfect day for a run.

WOW, you are really working that body of yours today, girl!!!! I want my guns bigger and so does my hubby, but we measure and measure and no increase yet. My hubby's biceps are 15 1/2" around and mine 12 inches. I really don't know how else to increase them except for increasing weights each time and eating more protein which I am trying to do both. I did go up in bench to 60# WOO HOO!!!!!
 
Hello Guys;

Today's schedule is Cardio Kicks I had no time to get my workout in this morning... oil change for the car plus hubby and I are looking at getting another model of what we have already for him.

So I'm really going to try to do it if not I'm getting on my treadmill and doing a 45-60 minute run.

Tommorrow I may not even have time to come over here as it field day at my daughter's school from 9-2.

This week is going by sooo fast.

I hope all are having a good day.
 
Charlotte - maybe I'll try that. I have so much hardwood in my house and I might be a little to lazy for that! Hehehe.

I'm glad your weather is nice. We have nice weather today (near 70 by this afternoon), but snowy and WINDY tomorrow. Boo hoo. By Saturday it is supposed to be back up to 50 so hopefull we will get our group ride in. That's our plan anyway.

I haven't measured my little guns, but I keep flexing in the mirror to see if they look like yours and Wendy's. Not yet! Although yesterday DH said he was impressed with my bicep muscle. Gotta love that!!!

Susan, are you braging about your workout yesterday? ;) I think you are!:) I would to if I did that.And I also think that you are braging about todays workout! Shame on you for trying to make us feel bad:p About the hardwood floors, I don't think it matters what you do when you live with dogs! Sometimes I clean my floors with boiling hot water and they look so clean.But then someone gives the dogs a treat and the next thing you know, there is dog slobber on my floorx( And chico is the worst for it, Charlie cleans up his mess atleast.

Vilma, I wouldn't be able to tell you the last time I did CK.I should try it.It would probably feel like I am doing a brand new workout!

Anyway...I have been a good girl all day.I didn't have anything before my Dr's apt and when I came back to work, there was some boxed lunches here.So I had a ham and cheese sandwich.I was starving!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My co-worker said it was the most he had seen me eat since I started here.They all say that I don't eat.Maybe I am a closet eater? Maybe I have problems and don't know it? Maybe I won't admit to it???? ;) ;) ;) :)
