Good Morning,
I can't beleive I am starting this again. I had so many kids in my house last night that I had no choice but to be up early today. My SIL came into town with her 3 kids and stayed alnight.
Eating was good yesterday until around 4.And I was starving all day.Those morning runs really get me hungry.
Today is the day I have the wedding to go to, I still have no clue what I am wearing and I am 1/2 thinking of wearing pants...no dress.We will see.
I am thinking of going for another run soon but I have to be somewhere by 10:30 that only leaves me with 90 min to run,shower, and get to where I need to be. Maybe I will just tidy up my house and when I get home I will get my run in.
Oh...my sister bought me a high step yesterday:) It was part of my b-day gift but was late getting here so I am diffently doing a workout today where I will need that.
I am going to try and be a good girl today. I have trouble saying no b/c part of me thinks that I have not come to terms with the fact that I am gaining a little bit of weight and I can't eat like I use to. I also have trouble stopping at one thing.
Anyway...enough babbling!

Lori, lucky you, a new high-step:) I don't think there's a better present out there!
I'm going to use my high-step tonight for HSC, I need an all-in-one
w/o because I haven't got time for separate cardio today. I had no problems with the diet yesterday, but the weekend is coming and my diet usually spirals down:-(

Hi Guys. I think the only gift that can compare is a Club Step which is what I'm putting on my Christmas list! The high step was a lot cheaper tho! :7

Weekends can be tough Sherry but you can do it. Keep checking in here for some motivation when you feel like giving in to something you don't think you should be eating. Because you are probably

Good Morning.

I'm not in the best of spirits this morning x( ...I got up late which always puts a "kink" in my day, the scale says I have now GAINED a pound which I can't figure out how although weight does fluctuate which is why you shouldn't weigh yourself more than once per week and I already weighed myself on tuesday. Oops! :eek: It's just that the last time this happened and I thought it was just the fluctuation and it would go away...IT DIDN'T!!!! I have still been following the calorie stagger plan! My reduction has been a little less the past couple of days but that should NOT make me GAIN any weight!!! Lord knows I have been working out!! WTF!?!?!

Well since I got up late, Joey is getting up late too. I like to have my coffee and "chill" for a bit before I go get him. Since he's such a GOOD baby, he rarely cries to get up before I grab him, therefore he is not up yet. I just finished my coffee though so I will go now....

It seems cool outside and it's a little cloudy so maybe we'll take a walk this morning. If the sun is not strong it would be awesome. I could walk forever when I'm not hot! Maybe that will brighten my mood some!

Go for a nice walk Wendy. You are doing great. You are working out, & eating better. Don't get discouraged and stop weighing yourself so often! Pick one day a week if that's how you're doing it and stick with that. That's what I do. I'd like to peek, but I don't. One week I lost 5lbs! And the next I gained 1lb back. No biggie! We gotta roll with the punches!

Just keep up the good work. Got it? ;-)

Hi Everyone, Yesterday was such a crazy day I never got a chance to check in. It's TTOM for me and it's taking alot of work to eat clean. But doing pretty well. Today was Cardio and weights, pretty fun! Lori and Sherry think of this check in when tempted this weekend! We'll ask you how everything went on Sunday or Monday.. So think of that. Wendy, I agree with Kali, only wiegh in once a week at the same time of day... Ignore the fluctuations! You are doing awesome, and keep your mind on that. I won't be around tom. because I work all day long (gross) but I'll talk to you all Sunday, Have a great weekend!

I'm almost ashamed to check in because I haven't worked out all week, and may not tonight. Monday and Tuesday I had awful DOMS from the weekend. Wednesday I had a big court hearing and got home very late, and last night I also got home late and just wanted to have some TV time to myself. Today, I'm having a lower back attack and have taken so much Advil I almost feel high. Plus, I've been overeating all week.

Hope I at least made someone else feel better about themselves! :+

Well, I want to check in on this thread because I think I need as much accountability as possible. I have been taking my measurements since June (once to twice a month), but do you know, I never even look back to see if I'm making progress? What's up with that???

Anyway, since June I have lost two inches on my waist and lost 1.5 inches on my hips, but then gained back .5. Grrr. I also lost .5 on the boobs which is very annoying, lol. Everything else stays the same.

Honestly, I feel like I am in very good shape except for the glaringly obvious mid-section that does its own thing. Thank god I am too old for belly-baring tops, lol.

Nancy, how do you find time to work out? I travel for work three days a week and those days invariably end up being light workouts or no workouts and then on weekends I try to get so many workouts in that I am very sore and cranky. I can't seem to stop the vicious cycle. It is very discouraging and I don't post on my normal check-in half the time because everyone is working away and I feel like a giant SLUG! So it's good to know I am not the only one struggling with this issue.

Hi Ladies.

Took a walk with Joey for about 40 minutes late this morning and was sweatin' up a storm most of the time. The cool breeze is great but the sun is still a bear!

Right now I am doing some cleanmax and then I plan to do my work out.

I PROMISE I will stay off the scale until Tuesday! Cross my (HEALTHY) heart! :+

So what is everyone doing this weekend?

I have no clue what we are up to...I'd like to do something tonight though b/c as of tmrw the humidity is supposed to start climbing again! UGH! x( x( x(

Okay, well I gotta run for now.

Hi Everyone,
I'm late checking in since I worked the early morning shift today - had to be up at 4:30, bleh! I'm so not a morning person, have I mentioned that? lol. Well, yesterday was ok. I did 40 mins of Imax 3 (I don't know how anyone does this workout in it's entirety, it kills me just to do half of it! x( ) I also did coremax 1 and took the pup for a 40 min walk, but then I went out for drinks and had 3 classes of wine and some sauteed mussels :9 Oh well, it was fun anyway. I'm planning on taking a nap and possibly doing GS BSB but I may make today a rest day since I've been on a 5 day stretch w/ workouts. Oh, I did walk today for 35 mins.

Wendy, I made the mistake of getting on the scale too - which was dumb considering last night's festivities and that it's TTOM for me - it said I was up two lbs x( I'm not going to measure or weigh again until the 1st and hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I don't have IMAX 3 yet but from everything I hear it's a KILLER!!!

I am personally still workin' on IMAX 2! lol I can do it all the way through but it kicks my a$$ pretty hard. I usually opt for doing 1/2 at a time. :+ I actually have more trouble with my legs hurting/burning than I do with running out of breathe! Don't get me wrong, the work out has me a huffin and a puffin like crazy but what kicks my butt are my legs cause they end up hurtin like a bear and get super super tired. x( I gotta keep workin' at it I guess.

TTOM will make anyone gain a few pounds! Stinks, doesn't it? lol Well, I vowed not to visit the scale again until Tuesday. I am doing a weekly weigh-in and body fat measure. I was going to measure (inches) each week too but I think I'll do that once per month instead....

Hi Everyone! Just thought I would pop back in and see what's going on. I did not eat very clean at dinner tonight.... All thoughts of my measurements went right out the window, Yikes, I'm going to have to work on that.

Nancy, you made me laugh so hard with that line about making everyone else feel better, I mean I was really cracking up! Go easy on yourself, at least you can lift heavy enough to cause DOMS that last this long, I am such a wimp that 5lb. weights cause DOMS.. hows that for making others feel better about themselves.. ha ha

Shannon, I'm not a morning person either, you'll never see me on this forum before 8am!! I mean NEVER. I'm writing this so late, no one will probably even see it!!

Marie, The more people we're accountable to the better, I say!

Wendy, Imax 2 challenges me too! Mostly, it's the breathing that gets me, but on #9 my last jumps are so pathetic! So it's both I guess! I was getting pretty good at it in the beginning of the summer but took a few weeks away from it, and Tuesday it felt like my first time all over again. Oh well. Hope everyone has a great weekend whatever you end up doing !
