Hi, everyone -

Man, am I hungry. I guess it's going to be one of those days. It was one of those nights last night - I had to get up in the middle of the night and attack the PB. I hate it when that happens. Eating in the middle of the night is a great big no-no, but when I'm so hungry I wake up with a headache, I do break the rules.

B - steel cut oats with walnuts, pineapple, soy milk
S - apple and orange
L - beans and brown rice with tomatoes and red peppers
S - veggie salad (baby spinach, peas, carrots, ground flax)
D - depends on what time I get home. Errands to run tonight. I do have some beans in the fridge though.

Emergency snack - a bag of mixed nuts/dried fruit, which I may need en route to the errands this evening!
 
I hope your appetite simmers down Shannon. I stuck to the plan for 2 days in a row now. I LOVE Cathe's suggestion to drop and give her 10 push ups when a craving hits. I'm no so in love with her suggestion to not keep chocolate in the house. I'll have to work on that one. Today:

B - fresh fruit salad, 2 slices steel cut oat bread w/PB&J ( and I have been cutting back on the amount of PB slathered on the toast)
L - turkey and bulgar wrap, carrots and tomatos, yogurt
D - Mandarin Chicken Salad at Wendy's
S - grapes, slice of whole wheat bread with smiggen of PB

Today's WO is GS Chest and Tri. Tack on one of Mindy Mylrea's Cardio Toolbox segments and a Core Max segment, if I have time. Have a heavenly Hump Day.

Shannon, I'm right there with you on the bottomless pit thing. It's PMS time for me and I could eat the world today.

B - mixed cereal with soy milk and banana
S - apple and almonds
L - multi grain roll with lf cheese, tomato and avocado, lf yogurt, orange
S - protein bar
D - egg whites and baked sweet potato

Workout will be GS BSB.

Did you enjoy your big day yesterday Shelley?

I ate a little more than I should yesterday calories wise, but it was in the "plan". My husband and I have an agreement that for my sake he will not cook pasta more than once a week, and last night was pasta night.

Today:
B - 1 egg & 2 whites, dab of cheese, pumpernickel toast, 1/2 grapefruit
S - Cottage cheese, whole grain Crackers
L - Pnut butter & banana on lo carb bread, salad
S - Almonds, Apple
D - Chicken, vegies (unless we go on the Dinner Ride with the Harley group)

If we don't go out tonight I will do muscle max.

HI everyone :)

Robin you are in the zone with two consecutive days of healthy choices!!! You are keeping us honest!

Yesterday went well; I did share a little beer with DH at the hockey rink.
My attitude is good so I shall continue on with my basic plan. I never knew two fruits could keep me ging for just an hour or two until dinner is ready, but it works for me.

Shannon and Shelly- I hope you appetites subside. It does seem to go in waves , and hormones are definitely part of it.

Paula- It sounds like your Dh is a nice one for compromisimg with you!

Hi ladies. I"m a bit late posting here today.

B: 1c bran flakes, 1/2 skim milk, 1/2 banana, coffee
S: was at a meeting from 9:30-12:30 so the only "snack" I had was a coffee and a V8 juice. They had a whole spread of donuts, cookies and muffins (which I did not eat any of). Wish they would put some fruit on the table instead of all those sweets.
L: I was starved so I had an apple, 2c fresh fruit and 3oz chicken w/steamed veggies
S: ff yogurt & carrots
D: 6oz chicken breast, steamed veggies and a baked sweet potato
S: banana and pb

My guys are requesting hot wings for tonight. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE wings but I will eat my baked chicken breast and not complain.

Not sure what the workout will be tonight. Depends on how much time I've got.

Dana - good job on resisting all those donuts and stuff! But you know, I'd prefer the fruit too.
